I also just noticed the only 5G phones available from Sprint right now are the S20 series.

I definitely have seen new towers.
My logs indicate four new 311 490 towers just on my 10-15 minute drive to work this morning. Considering this is a drive I do at least five days a week twice a day and all had at least one B4 sector, it is highly unlikely I just never encountered them before.
Good to know! Nothing new on my route yet but I'll keep an eye out. It's a shame they weren't able to just broadcast 311 490 on all towers at once "at the flip of a switch".

I'm not convinced much has actually changed yet. It seems to me like they've opened up roaming a touch more, but otherwise Sprint customers are still on the Sprint network as much as possible. I have yet to connect to T-Mobile anything since the day of the merger.

Yeah. The 311 490 PLMN T-Mobile towers configured around me have opened access to all bands (some previously limited to B2 or B2/B4 only), but otherwise most T-Mobile towers are still only broadcasting 310 260 with no roaming access. Haven't seen any new 311 490.

So CPUC is mad because T-Mo and Sprint didn't wait for the official vote before closing the merger. CPUC already said they were gonna vote yes so I don't know why they're being whiners.

Still not able to roam on T-Mobile towers around here as of now. 311 490 still only being broadcast on a select few sites, and 310 260 not allowing access.

I knew this day was coming, and yet it's still a bit heartbreaking now that it's finally here.
Sprint had some ups and downs. The most positive thing I can remember against the other three was the old Google voice integration. Largest negative would be the VoLTE rollout.
It was a blast going through Wimax, the LTE launch, triband LTE, and then finally 5G NR. Getting to have tower maps through S4GRU was a huge part of the experience. It definitely wouldn't have been the same without this place.
A big thanks to everyone at S4GRU over the years, and I hope the transition goes as well as it can for all the current Sprint employees.

You mean Sprint has B1+ B2. They could probably put H+ on G provided of course they have phones that support it.
I don't think there is a single phone out there that supports band 25 UMTS, G block will have to be LTE or NR only.

My AT&T line on my phone had service so I wonder what the deal is.
Where Sprint allows ATT roaming is very limited, it just may not be available there.

Can the unlimited tablet plan roam on AT&T? Reason I ask is my iPad Pro will happily roam on T-Mobile and US Cellular, but it won't roam on AT&T. It just says no service.
Yes it should be able to if ATT roaming is available in the area, I've had a tablet roam on ATT before but that was nearly a year ago.

https://www.pcmag.com/news/372379/sprint-plans-much-cheaper-5g-phones
QuoteSprint owns 160-190MHz of prime mid-band spectrum in much of the country, but it's only using 120MHz. Even that's up from when its 5G network started; in some cities such as New York, it was using 60MHz for 4G and only 40MHz for 5G. That's up to 60/60 in all of its nine markets, Sullivan said, offering improved 5G speeds. It's also moved uploads to 5G, improving upload speeds.
So what about the other 40-70MHz? That could double Sprint's 5G speeds from what we're seeing now. The problem is hardware availability, Sullivan said.
"We're working with our network manufacturers on when they can actually produce a massive MIMO radio head upgrade that can actually support more than 60MHz. So it is a limitation," he said. "Ultimately, getting to 100MHz or more on the NR [5G] side is our goal."
So confirmation here that they're using 5G for uploads. I wasn't sure if this was doable for NSA.

The upcoming Note 10+ 5g and One Plus 7T Pro on T-Mobile will support N41: https://www.pcmag.com/news/371527/exclusive-t-mobiles-new-5g-phones-are-merger-ready?amp=1
No idea on when/if these two will also hit Sprint.

Sensorly is shutting down. I'll never forget all the time I spent and fun I had mapping the Sprint LTE launch.

Just FYI- the bootloader on this is locked down according to owners over at XDA. https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/discussion-sprint-oneplus-7-pro-5g-t3963319

It does support BC10: https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/2ABZ2-GM1925

I'm wondering if it can be flashed over to the international rom to get dual sim support like the T-mobile variant can...

How do you know they are using TDD config 5?
They said that 80% of the network was configured for download.

Turns out, Sprint does use "true" 5G for its uploads, but a spokesperson argued that "80 percent" of the carrier's network is on the downlink," and that it could add more uplink capacity if it needed to.
It sounds like they're using standalone with TDD config 5, at least in NYC.

Does anyone know if this phone has 1x800? Granted, at this point that may not be a big deal to most people, but it might matter to those on the fringes of coverage.
I can't find any information on band support, or an FCC ID. Nothing on the OnePlus website either.
I would assume they would throw in BC10, as it shouldn't be difficult when the 7 pro already supported BC0.
Edit: It does support BC10: https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/2ABZ2-GM1925

One Plus 7 Pro 5G launched on Sprint. We're only about a month or two out from the new 5G One Plus phone being launched, but I guess better late than never? https://newsroom.sprint.com/oneplus-7pro-5g-launches-as-sprints-fourth-5g-device.htm
-
The new 5G One Plus phone will be a global 5G device, which means it should support several NR bands: https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-ceo-confirms-5g-smartphone-possibly-oneplus-7t/
This phone may support all of Sprint/T-Mobile's 5G low and mid bands similar to what the Note 10+ 5G might do.

There will be a Note 10+ 5G coming to T-Mobile in Q4: https://www.t-mobile.com/news/samsung-note10
The press release states it will support N71 along with other unnamed mid band spectrum, so this will have the X55 modem. I assume the unnamed mid band(s) would be N25, N66, and N41. The same or similar model will likely make it to Sprint.
-
Looks like a 5G One Plus 7 Pro or One Plus 7T Pro will be coming: https://newsroom.sprint.com/sprint-to-launch-5g-smartphone-from-oneplus.htm

Do we know of any future 5G devices headed to Sprint by the end of the year? I assume the Galaxy Note 10. Anything else though?
When X55 modem devices start coming in, will T-Mobile and Sprint share the same models with support for N260, N261, N71, and N41? What about N12, N25, or N66?
