  1. Nice find! I wonder if someone here bought it. How would you activate it on LTE though without a sim? The same seller also has a Verizon GS4 Mini listed. I feel we need to get to know this man better. lol
  2. The irony is in a few years 7" will be a common phone size. Which also brings up another point. If a phone and tablet are both 7" devices, why should it cost more to use the tablet?
  3. It also seems way too late to mess with engineering samples at this point. The only thing that gives me hope is Sprint hasn't opened a preorder or talked about a release date yet. Maybe we will get a late release so they can finish throwing together a triband version.
  4. Just get a single band SVLTE phone or switch carriers. What seems to be the problem?
  5. I'm still considering the Note 3. It has everything I want in a device (besides triband) and more. The size of the device is perfect, and I love the S Pen and SD card slot. Unless the Nexus 5/Android 4.4 has something amazing, I think I can last another year on just 1900mhz LTE and then just buy the Note 4 when it comes out. Hopefully all the heavy data users around me upgrade to triband devices.
  6. ...But does it have SVLTE? (Just trolling)
  7. LOL I guess we now know what the two Samsung triband devices are for this year. The Galaxy s4 mini, and the Galaxy Mega.
  8. This is the only logical explanation I can think of.
  9. Why would Samsung make the GN3 single band instead of dual band though? The Verizon GN3 will be dual band 750/AWS for sure, SVLTE and all. Why would the Sprint GN3 opt out of 800mhz LTE?
  10. All of this is surprising to me! If the Note 3 does end up being just single band, I guess we can throw out the chances of a triband GS4 as well. It wouldn't make sense to have a triband s4, but not a triband note 3. Heck, it doesn't even make sense to have a triband GS4 mini and a single band Note 3. But Sprint said we would get a triband device from Samsung before years end. ...I don't know what I think at this point lol
  11. The folks over at NSA are jumping for joy after this announcement. What a nice fingerprint database they will have!
  12. On the topic, do any phones show whether you are connected to 1x Advanced or not?
  13. Why not? Every Verizon LTE phone does. Over time it would cut down on customer service costs. I am sure a significant number of people are having to call in to switch phones, either because they don't want to deal with the imei switcher online, or it simply isn't working.
  14. With all that's been going on, (a gs4 mini passing through the FCC) can you still not confirm or deny?
  15. I can also fit a Nexus 7 in my pocket without any problems. How small are your pants bro?
  16. Considering 80% of the people reading this article are guests, I'm assuming they already know.
  17. It is kind of strange they didn't just bump it up to hexaband for a nationwide nexus model. Unless there was simply no room? Or maybe Sprint agreed to terms that Verizon wouldn't agree to? Like perhaps being sold only through the play store?
  18. I'm expecting it based on what I see in this thread. Its down between the Nexus 5 and Note 3 for me now! Edit: I do hope if they bring a nexus back to CDMA carriers, that they work out some kind of deal to get the devices fully supported in AOSP, and updates pushed by Google would be nice...
