  1. For a while last month they were repainting the marriott, perhaps that slowed down some of the wiring up on the roof.
  2. I've noticed lately as more of these towers are updated and backhaul completed that even though LTE isn't widespread, the 3g is much better than it was a couple months ago. Not good enough to stream or anything, but at least I can browse the web, use feedly & currents reasonably well when I'm at lunch. And the locations that have LTE, it's pretty darn good. Not sure about streaming music/video as I don't use it much, but webpages are very fast. Glad to see it finally happening, I was -> <- this close to switching to tmo's $30 plan recently, had the sim card and everything (nice to have many carrier options with the N5).
  3. I was able to get throughput on it the other day from west des moines, but nothing today. Good signal, doesn't go anywhere. Had to switch back to 3g mode to get any traffic to move.
  4. Crane was at the WDM marriott this morning, on the side of the building where the antennas are.
  5. I'm in the MLK & ingersoll area, still 3g. Toggled airplane mode a couple of times, no change.
  6. Not much to contribute, other than I got to use the LTE in bondurant last night for a while at a clients office. I didn't do a speedtest, but it was so much faster than sprints 3g (obviously no surprise). Browsing webpages was basically as quick as my phone can render webpages (nexus 5), facebook loaded photos very quickly etc. It was nice to finally see what things should be like. I was in miami during thanksgiving week, and it wasn't nearly as fast as it was last night. Hopefully this is what we'll see across the whole dsm area.
