  1. Found some AT&T LTE roaming south of Syracuse in the Onondaga Nation. It's good to have some LTE coverage available down there, even if it is roaming. On a side note, band 41 in Syracuse is a lot more usable now that I upgraded to a LG G6. This phone holds onto band 41 down to -130 and it's still usable. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  2. I was under the assumption device band priority was only for initial scan and that the network would then move the device to different bands. Is that no longer the case? Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  3. The other day I was roaming on Verizon 1x and AT&T LTE at the same time south of Syracuse in the Onondaga Nation. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk

HPUE wouldn't effect the downlink signal level you are seeing as it only effects transmitted power from the phone. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk

Maybe Sony is weird but I've never had problems using features like Miracast across different brands. What are you trying to do with keeping the same brand tv and phone? I haven't seen this phone in person but my HTC Bolt had several options built in to connect to other devices like TV's as did every other HTC I've had. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  6. Android doesn't really have bars anymore, it's a little wedge and there seems to be more than five "levels" from what I can tell. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  7. This has been my families experience as well. iPhone to iPhone, iPhone to Android, Android to Android it doesn't seem to matter. It's like the wifi calling option on the line disables HD calling among other features. To be clear wifi calls still sound good, but Sprint HD calling on cellular seems to get disabled once wifi calling is enabled on that line. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  8. I don't have experience running the software you mentioned, but in my own experience running some older games on new hardware they still may run poorly no matter how much computing power you throw at them. I regularly play Diablo 3 and Rift and run those just fine on high or ultra settings yet when I load up EverQuest I get video lag which is an 18 year old game. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  9. Both my dad and my sister have wifi calling enabled on their line (LG G6 and iPhone 7) and they no longer get Sprint HD calling at all while on cellular. Wifi calls sound good, but enabling wifi calling on your line even if you don't use it kills a lot of features for some reason. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  10. Maybe this is for another thread, but you don't need to spend $5000 on a PC to game in 4k. My three year old machine I put together for around $1500 runs that stuff just fine. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  11. Why not move over to an Android or iPhone? Windows mobile seems nice, but there are just better options with Google and Apple regarding the whole device and app ecosystem. Until Microsoft does something to gain some more marketshare you're kind of setting yourself up for disappointment not being able to use new services as they come out. 12. If there's no network prioritization for a data call on LTE how is it different besides using the stock dialer? Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  13. It looks like an over the top solution like using messenger or FaceTime to make data calls to me. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  14. It seems like it would be better in the long run to get ca with b25/26 being the pcc and b41 scc than mess with trying to deploy different tdd configurations in the same market using huge swaths of spectrum as guard bands that could otherwise be utilized. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  15. How would you plan to use the feature? With my Google voice integration, I primarily use it to text from my tablet and desktop using the Hangouts extension in chrome. With Google continually fragmenting their own messaging services with new apps I don't have any expectations the service will last past next year especially with Hangouts losing sms support completely. It's my hope Google (and Microsoft for that matter) come up with a unified messaging platform that can work across devices using your account rather than specific carrier device similar to what Apple did with iMessage. That way we wouldn't have to rely on a carrier implementation feature like digits, or Google voice integration and it's adoption could be more widespread. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  16. I haven't seen many particulars about digits but it seems very similar to google voice with Sprint full integration using Hangouts. If that's the case I probably wouldn't want to use it via web interface because it's just not the same experience. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  17. Windows doesn't have a lot of marketshare for mobile phones. While it would be nice if they adopted support for digits, are you really surprised? Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  18. I thought it had the device check for calls periodically similar to how one of the older iPhones did by dropping to check the paging channel for calls. I lose data completely when on the phone just like I always have. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  19. It's a dual wan router with a built in cellular modem. Sprint had its own version but I can't remember the name. Essentially you can set it up a few ways with primary connection from Ethernet from your wired ISP and use cellular for back up in case of ISP outage or even for load balancing. 21. Just got this phone yesterday after having to replace my bolt due to screen issues. HPUE seems to do its thing, it will camp on -125 b41 which was still letting me get 10/1Mbps whereas the Bolt would drop to b25 or evdo. So far my only annoyance was having to figure out how to turn on the app drawer on the home screen. Overall it feels pretty nice and is very responsive. The rear fingerprint reader was hard to get used to but I found a thin case which makes it much easier to locate. Are there any wireless charger that will work with a case on? My Nexus charger won't, the pho e detects something and throws up a screensaver but won't charge on it unless I pull it out of the case. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  22. I had to replace my htc bolt today due to a problem with the screen. I got the LG G6 and noticed this phone holds onto b41 to much lower levels before I get kicked to b25 or 3g. Normally in this area I would be camping on evdo but I'm sitting on b41 at -125 and still manage ~10/1 Mbps. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  23. That's what I mean though. If they are constrained on b41 spectrum in that area and already have (or plan to have) 2-3 carriers on air. It's my understanding the box broadcasts something different than what the macros do so if they didn't have another chunk of unused b41 it wouldn't work. Sent from my 2PYB2 using Tapatalk
  24. I wonder if the b41 carrier the magic box broadcasts is outside Sprint's spectrum holdings for areas it's being denied. Sent from my 2PYB2 using Tapatalk
  25. Is there any benefit of having the magic box over the upcoming Airave 3 if broadband internet is available at home? Sent from my 2PYB2 using Tapatalk
