I can't see any new info in Brandon or Largo in Sensorly. Anyone who's been mapping should check that their Sensorly app is uploading the map data.

You can verify this in the app here: > Menu > Details > Messages to send (there should be numbers here), and the status should say 'SENDING' when it's uploading data. There is a 'Force send' button at the top right next to the search button.

According to Sensorly, their maps update at least once a day for all zoom levels.

How Bizarre. I went a good ways a number of different directions. I live southwest of the area and was about to pull into my sub when I picked up LTE again. Went a bit around the area of my neighborhood here in Riverview and picked up LTE. Went half way down Balm Riverview towards CR672 and it stopped. Turned around, turned right on Big Bend and went east till it ended and it dropped off. Went back down Big Bend and it stopped in Summerfield. Went into my sub and picked up a very weak 4G signal one block from my house and it dropped off. I had 4G on Boyette Rd. as far as the post office near 301 and Boyette. Was amazed at how far I was picking up. Be interested to see it on Sensorly.

Were you possibly getting a signal from another tower possibly?

  3. We are seeing single sites just flame a signal far and wide. I said in another post we are lucky we doing have huge skyscrapers to deal with like other cities. I wonder if it's more than that though. The state for the most part is pretty flat too. Could that be a reason. Can you imagine how good your coverage is going to be here in Florida when this done

  4. So is there a chance it's turned on? Sorry I'm not sure exactly what it means for it to be in progress.

The in progress sites are new to the sponsor maps. It's a site that hasn't been accepted by Sprint yet, but either Robert has scored some info from the inside or a member has confirmed that work is being done there. On the sponsor maps there are about 9 or so sites in Pinellas that we have confirmed to have work done. The ones I have reported over the last month or so have panels and cabinets set and APPEAR ready. Tonight the reports we are getting in Pinellas correspond to in progress sites.

  5. Pretty sure it would be one of the in progress sites that have been reported.. Would be nice for the member to tell us where he was though. I was off today and hit everyone of them but got nothing. It's how I ran into RastaEricsson guy..

  6. You guys picking up LTE in Brandon/Valrico should try to record where the coverage is in Sensorly. Don't tempt me drive to drive all the way out there to do it myself... ;)

  7. Picking up 4G sporadically by Wireless Grass. That tower is really amazing... Would love to see 75 towers just like this one done by the end of the year, but from three towers to that might be getting our hopes up a little.

    Where is Wireless Grass?
  8. If this is even patially true, I imagine I'll be putting a lot of miles on my vehicle mapping LTE on Sensorly over the holiday.... :)

We have seen in other market updates from Robert that its not unusual to see 30, 40, or 50 sites accepted in a week so I believe its absolutely possible. I just think we would have seen more activity if that many sites have been completed but when I add in how many rooftop sites that we can't see or aren't looking for its completely plausible.

I don't think it's false. I think what he means is that they are not focusing only on one area with this initial deployment. For instance, not all the initial sites are in Pinellas. Or just Central Tampa. But rather they are all over the market. If that's what he meant, then that is essentially true.

And what do you think of the 75 sites by end of year up and running?
