While driving on empire by Bloomington country club I saw fiber being trenched. It was right near the Sprint tower. Hoping it won't be to much longer.

The tower for downtown Bloomington has had no data service for almost a month. This morning I got 1 mb up and 1 mb down. Currently getting 800 mhz 1x on the same tower.

On Thursday I was picking up 800mhz at a number of places in Bloomington, I know that doesn't mean that lte will be turned on anytime soon, but it does tell me that most of the network vision upgrades are done in the area.

Over the past few weeks I have been getting over 1mbps on eharp in downtown Bloomington in the morning, the afternoon it is not nearly as fast, this morning there was no 3g service. Is this what happens when they are upgrading towers to lte?
