  1. Verizon's band 4 rollout seems to be very deliberate and targeted in their launched cities. If I go into the heavily trafficked areas of Orlando I can usually find band 4 pretty regularly on my girlfriends device, but outside of those areas it seems very hit or miss. Makes me appreciate Sprint's rollout more and more. I shouldn't assume you are using Verizon as well but it seems to fit what I've observed. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. If that was available in Florida I would snatch that up in an instant. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Alright so s-off will be tomorrow's adventure then! Thanks for the help. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

I am on Jellybean, but 4.3. I updated with one of the last ruu months ago just to check out Sense 5. I've rooted and tried flashing a few 4.1.1 Roms without much luck. It has been forever since I have rooted and flashed Roms to an HTC device so I'm not very up to date with S-off or anything additional that may be necessary. I guess you could say the Nexus has spoiled me some. I don't recall the ruu throwing a specific error. It just said "failed" and rebooted the phone. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

No I'm not rooted. I've tried a few different ruu's now so I guess rooting and flashing via fastboot will be the way to go?

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Do any of you guys know how I could return my EVO LTE to to 4.1.1? I tried using an older ruu, but it failed.
  8. Is your Galaxy Tab stock? I haven't found what may be the problem yet, but now I am particularly curious because I just noticed that one of my reviews from early this month was made from a Galaxy Tab.
  9. I may be misinterpreting this a tad but I think that's what he said. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. I think I account for all those except for B17 DAS and Band 5, but please go ahead and send it to me. I can make any changes or additions necessary. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks glad you like it! Hmmm, I wasn't aware of any particular incompatibilities with the GT3, but now that you mention it I think I recall that we had an issue sometime ago with the Nexus 7 because the tablet didn't support the stock android tabs we were using (seriously). I thought we resolved it at the time but it may have popped up again-- I'll have a look into it and see if its a simple fix or not. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. There is a menu option in the map tab you need to enable this time around. That fragment of the code has been extensively worked over. Wanted to have users enable it manually because the logic is very intense in that part of the app and it could cause problems if it encountered something I hadn't expected. That part is really a public beta, but most of the feedback I get about it seems to be good. I just saw the B41 bug myself and and have already rolled out the fix. Basically the logger works so quickly in the background that sometimes the PLMN doesn't have time to populate correctly and that is what is causing the errors. I had code in place for the app to discard invalid logs and recreate them a fraction of a second later when the PLMN had time to catch up, but I accidentally put it in a place where the code never ran (whoops). You'll get the update shortly. Thanks for the support. Feel free to let me know anytime how I can improve it. Have more planned upgrades once I catch up on the small bugs that have popped up.
  13. Hmm let's find out. Try turning on airplane mode, then enable WiFi and try to send a text. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. Everyone should have the update before the end of today. If you don't, let me know. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. I mean to ask before... Is LTE Discovery displaying correctly on the QHD screen?

  19. Simply put that would be because your phone doesn't actually connect to voice when you are on LTE. When your phone receives a call it drops down to 1x to accept it, but it doesn't maintain the voice signal prior to that (unless you are not on LTE of course). All tri-band LTE phones on Sprint behave like this.

    LG G3

I knew you would post this. I think this came up last time I asked about a phone being too large lol.

    LG G3

Anyone feel like the G3 is too big? Personally from what I have seen of the phone, I love the specs and the UI is very much improved. Just don't know if I could deal with the size.
  22. You're missing all the fun! Should be out to 50% of users by tonight and rest of the timeline will most likely be accelerated. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. There have been very few crash reports since v3.7.2. The next update v3.7.3 should hopefully squash what's left of them. If you get a crash export the logcat from me (in-app is preferred) and let me know how to duplicate it.
  24. Yes and no. On the EARFCN card if you hit the check button (or manually open your debug screen) you can view your downlink and uplink channels and plug them onto the frequency calculator. If the center download frequency is not 866.3 then it is very likely you are on a 3*3 channel. Unfortunately there isn't anyway to automate this process on non-HTC devices since I can't access those EARFCN values. I'm sure this is not the way you want to do this, but it will have to do until those API's open up to developers. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
