  1. Upgraded from the Note4. Coworker still has Note 4. We placed phones side by side on his bench here at work. He would be stuck on 3g while my Note 5 would still be on 4g. We cycled airplane mode and he would have 4g for about 2 seconds then back to 3g. I have yet to see mine go on 3g here at work while he is constantly on it. Loving the phone so far.
  2. Wife got that for me a couple of months ago. Use it everyday at work. Love it.
  3. At brst buy now and jusy saw the GN4. I have the 17th off so will be at local Sprint store when they open.
  4. Sprint needs to hurry and officially say what day so i can schedule the day off. Local store doesn't get a lot of stock in so always there when they open.
  5. No mention of Sprint. Resume holding pattern.

  10. I got one day of release. Uniband is working fine for me and I am loving the phone. I am lucky in that I have not experienced any issues that others are reporting. Only thing different for me is thst this is the longest I have went without rooting. Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk

  13. LOL lucky there wasn't more mistakes. Almost 2 in the morning and the wife telling me to put my phone down and go to sleep.
  14. We aren't Ok if we want to keep warranty and root. You can go to the general Note3 or Sprint Note3 discussions on xda and read all about it. Somewhere in the multiple threads is the response from Samsung stating that having the Knox counter tripped does void your warranty. So unless someone can find a way around tripping the counter, your choices are root and loose warranty (we still don't know how this will effect those of us that did the one up) or stay unrooted and keep warranty. sent from Note 3 now Free
  15. I haven't experienced any problems with call quality since I picked mine up last Friday. Calls have been nice and clear. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk now Free
  16. Connectivity seems just fine on mine. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk now Free
  17. Yep. When you go into recovery there are two counters. One says "Official" or "Custom". From what I am reading that one can be reset. The Knox counter say 0/0 for untouched but one you root it goes to 0/1 and no way to reset (yet) Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk now Free
  18. Should impact it to much. They already have root and custom recovery. The thing is that as it stands now if you root you void manufacturer warranty and can't hide the fact that you rooted. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk now Free
  19. Good luck. Some stores are being told it was to be last phone you did at upgrade. I had to give up my Note2. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk now Free
  20. From what the devs over at xda are saying it is different. Chainfire has said he thinks the Knox counter may be permanent. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk now Free
  21. Have to agree with the way it feels in your hand.(insert comment from AJ here) I didn't think the small changes would make that much of a difference but it does. To be honest, after the first week or two with the 2 I barely used the S PEN. With the 3 I thing that will be different. Watching video after video on what you can do with it. Only thing so far I do not like is the inclusion of Knox. I usually root my phones but from what I a reading once you root there is no way to reset the Knox counter and many of the devs are saying it might not be. If I had bought outright I wouldn't worry about it but I got the phone on one up so not sure how this will effect it when I go in next year to get the 4. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk now Free
