  1. ROTFL!! I shouldn't have to clarify this. The question is how long on average (in real numbers) does it take to recharge from specific locations on the line, 50%, 30%, zero, or near zero using the common methods? Flat pad Qi charger, and standard sammie wall outlet cord, is there a special qi cord that charges faster than the "normal" white outlet adapter/cord? The one that came with my QI was marked different (I'll add a photo tonight)
  2. Now how long to charge and on what charger? I got my Samsung Qi flat pad wireless charger today.
  3. Domestic origin is Louisville. That is the UPS air hub like Memphis is for Fed ex. Their logistics support program is based there. Since there is no inbound travel it cuts blue 2-day service to one day. It'll start moving after midnight when the inbounds are all arrived and the sort begins and then the outbounds start moving. You'll probably see a departure scan by air, then an arrival scan at your nearest big city, then local ground or feeder air scans. Then a load on a final delivery truck. Blue has an end of business day commitment for commercial addresses and something like 8-9 pm for residential. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  4. READ ME!! http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-405-updated-teaser-samsung-galaxy-s7-and-s7-edge-one-of-us-one-variant-each-for-all-of-the-us/ That firmware on the Sprint "P" variant, for example, will enable CCA/RRPP compliant bands 2/4/5/12/25/26/41 but disable VZW band 13, AT&T bands 29/30, and VoLTE. Similar segmentation applies to the other domestic variants, such as the AT&T "A" variant and T-Mobile "T" variant, both of which disable CDMA2000 and Sprint bands 25/26/41. Thus, the single SKU aspect for the "US" hardware variants of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be limited to their respective FCC IDs. At the retail and end user levels, separate SKUs and model numbers still will exist for the operator specific airlink/band firmware packages. (I kinda assumed everyone that who had wanted this phone had also read this article on the S4GRU wall.)
  5. You tube and queue up a bunch of documentaries. Search on military or wwii Then you only have to check it every hour or two.
  6. Tracked into UPS system. They're shaving a day off Blue since the package is tendered at the Air Hub in Louisville. Here tomorrow. Watch the storms cause trouble now.
  7. I can't wait to show how fast a power user can kill one of these.
  8. I don't doubt or argue that. Read what I wrote. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  9. I ordered via the sprint website as early as I could, which was actually earlier than they said the orders would go live. I had it delivered so I could have it come to work and not have to drive to any store 15 miles out of my way. Orders have been shipping for almost a week now. I should have had mine in time for the weekend. I could be migrated and running by now. Best Buy is nothing so special that it rates being given special service over customers already with sprint that put in the extra effort. It's not like Best Buy pre ordered phones, they're being shipped individually the same way the rest are, they're just getting a priority and getting their orders jammed in front of others. 10. Exactly. What a foul up by sprint. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  11. Since new too. Once enroute, you can select a more narrow delivery time or redirect it to work or have it held at a UPS station. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

  13. Was there ever any explanation why no white in the US? Is that some sort of Apple issue? Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

  17. If it doesn't show by tonight, squeak like a wheel. I was on the order status page yesterday and left it running while I did something else in another window on the laptop. When I came back to it, the annoying auto-chat initiator had fired up. I took them up on the offer to talk and gave the rep hell about what had happened. I don't know for certain that it is related, but at 12:02 am overnight, I got that email with a track #. If you didn't get yours by now too, evidence says it did have some positive effect. The proof in the pudding is when that actually gets scanned onto a UPS truck at pickup.
  18. They cut a UPS waybill for mine finally overnight and I got my first shipping email this morning. It has both the waybill for the already delivered VR and the GS7. Order status page has the phone waybill on it also. Shows in UPS system as ready to be picked up, so not actually in their transit system yet. We'll see if they hold them tomorrow or release it right away. Blue 2day puts it in hand potentially wednesday. Lot of late nights getting it migrated for next weekend. 19. It'll still vary dramatically depending on what apps he runs, foreground and background, whether it's good or bad LTE or wifi signal, etc. There have been reports of 7-8 hours with undocumented usage. I run both Yahoo and ESPN sports alerts, tapatalk alerts, signal check pro widget, 3 diff email clients including that dog Yahoo mail (word is that ymail may roll into gmail finally), usually 1 or 2 web browsers, weather underground widget, intellicast tray temp and wx, if I'm driving add Pandora interfaced to my alpine truck radio via Bluetooth, waze, and google maps. Twitter is constantly pulling alerts as is fb and periodically fb messenger and texts. If I'm documenting towers, I'm also running google earth with a tower map kml overlay, and a spreadsheet with tower data. Plus bloatware I can't permanently disable like google messenger"hangouts", and sprint zone. I'm constantly shuffling and killing apps on my gs4 to keep it running so that's why I want to get my paws on s7 so badly. I've long outgrown the s4t for what I do and managing memory / apps manually has lost its charm. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  20. Amazing. The people that bought and paid first are shoved to the back of the line. Time stamp in my order email is 0557 central, 2/23/16 That's a customer service fail in my book. Next we'll hear they lost those orders I suppose. If they're going to deliver early, then deliver early to those that ordered early. That's the entire reason why we put in the effort to do that. 21. How many splash screens does it have? Does it take a while to start up and progress through all the "commercials"? How far into it have you gotten? Have you started exploring "hidden" engineering screens yet? Does it run apps like CPU-z or GPS status that tell you what sensors it has onboard? Any new or removed sensors? I saw heart rate reported someplace. That isn't on my GS4.
  22. Can any of the ones that have received post a photo of a sprint logoed box or a phone with a sprint splash? Any sort of proof we can take to customer support to squeak with?

  25. For the other user that got an email, it was for shipment to the Sprint store. They are holding his hostage until the release date. Which from the sound of the post above sounds like he got it released. What silliness.
