  1. YUP! its been talked about in other places on the forum!
  2. Now we need somebody to post a 2500 triband hotspot speedtest to blow that out of the water!
  3. Man, I thought I was on top of this stuff! gotta subscribe to more threads...Jezz!
  4. In the wrong place obviously! guess also depends if you consider Sunday the beginning of the week, its still this week...LOL...bottom line is...i am late to the game!
  5. Looks like chicago already has widespread LTE 2500! Cant wait to see the first test from one of the big cities! Somebody need to pick up a tri-band hotspot quickly!
  6. Wooow im gone for a day and sprint drops a bomb! SWEEET!
  7. Is it broadcasting? The only device that I know of is a tri-band hotspot, and I have yet to read any reviews or tests on it..Soon im sure!
  8. It looks like you have pretty bad signal from the looks of your Notification bar...EVDO under -100dBm i find to be almost unusable..That being the case, you might benefit greatly from 800 VOICE/LTE or a closer tower being upgraded.
  9. Better yet, lets say its not decent in the places you visit, and is for the places that I visit..
  10. Sensorly actually shows there is almost no coverage in lower manhattan, Im in the bronx, i have very decent coverage, upper west side pretty decent, upper east side pretty decent, yonkers area pretty decent, Astoria is decent, washington heights is also pretty decent, lower east works well also. Is it perfect? no it is not! do they have plenty of work ahead..yes they do, but to say coverage is bad, is not really looking at the bigger picture.
  11. Launches mean nothing to sprint customers. As soon as a site is ready to broadcast LTE its up and running. If you are curious as to where LTE is available, check out crowd sourced sensorly.com, it tends to be more accurate than any official coverage map by any carrier. Also, as side note, coverage in NYC is pretty decent already.
  12. That's all well and great for those in the know...but how do you explain to the average Joe, that the reason his internet only works 2 blocks in his neighborhood is because of backhaul!
  13. My speed is now 110 down and 30 up for $45.00bucks (on the tripleplay package special) and has been rock solid. I see no point in moving to FIOS anymore.
  14. Its definitely been a double edged sword, there is no telling how many customers would have bailed waiting for sprint to have enough LTE to deploy in clusters, vs how many they've kept because they finally had some sort of LTE. Then the wild card, like the person above, who isn't happy about spotty coverage.
  15. I dont know if you have been lurking in and around this forum, but official press release mean absolutely nothing for sprint customers. As soon as sprint is able to broadcast LTE they turn it on. Most places in NYC without LTE are just waiting on backhaul to be installed, but coverage in NYC has been getting better and better everyday! Now, Tmobile have had that backhaul in place in many places for a while to run their HSPA+ network, thats why they were able to deploy quickly in alot of those places. But in the end, it wont matter because it will be sprints 800/1900/2500 vs Tmobiles 1700/1900/2100. So patience will pay off in the long run.
  16. Just did a speedtest and noticed an increase of my upload to 30mb up!!! Cablevision kicking ass!
  17. Xbox tethering on a tiered plan! Enjoy your insane bill!
  18. Actually ive heard that they stopped capping, obviously their customer base has declined considerably.
  19. Didn't take long to poke holes into my sarcastic joke...ha
  20. I think it had something to do with allowing the person in PTT time to complete there conversation
  21. A solar panel to power the bad boy...and bam! good to go! you wont even need a vehicle to take advantage! LOL!
  22. For those of you who miss the added benefits of an extended antenna on the go!!
  23. 800LTE device hotspot coming this friday, So im hoping NV completed sites broadcasting 1x 800 would be broadcasting LTE as well.
  24. We will finally find out if they are broadcasting LTE 800 very soon! cant wait!
