  1. Just an update. I have a friend who I work with on I-10 in between medical and callaghan (eastbound side) and he has an EVOLTE. He has been getting a 4g signal off and on all day. He will pick up his phone, or toggle airplane mode and it will connect to 4g, but as soon as he tries to use it with a speed test or surfing, it goes away. Nothing exciting, just an update.
  2. I was wondering, what are y'all's pings like? are they low? I mean speed is great (I get good wimax, so I have speed), but its the latency that sucks. Is the LTE producing good latency?
  3. San Antonio is still experiencing sub 50kspeeds on 3g
  4. FWIW Cyanogen said that Qualcomm chips, and Samsung sets are more developer friendly. He said that HTC could be there but their policies are too inconsistant. (before anyone says "yeah sure, the samsung employee tags samsung as the best", he said Sony was the best manufacturer all around for being dev friendly, with samsung being second)
  5. Anyone testing this in San Antonio? I only have a 3d, but I am hoping that when they flip the LTE switch, they will flip the "better 3g" switch too. I get great WIMAX around the city (avg 4 down 1 up), but if I drop to 3g, it is usually 45-80 kbps.
  6. LOL, you have three of the top ten largest cities in the US being switched on first. Houston (4th), San Antonio (7th), and Dallas (9th) are all pretty large cities.
