  2. So, my wife's Galaxy S5 is not seeing the LTE here. I've tried a number of tweaks from this thread to no avail. Based on Robert's comment, I checked to see if she's in the same boat, as I've only seen B26 at home. Lo, and behold (from Phone Arena site of Sprint version specs): CDMA: 800, 1900 MHz FDD LTE: 850 (band 26), 1900 (band 25) MHz TDD LTE: 2500 (band 41) MHz Read more at http://www.phonearena.com/phones/Samsung-Galaxy-S5_id8202/fullspecs#jCJKkPbuLaRQ4gTb.99 I'm guessing that the 850 for B26 is correct, but maybe a typo? If incorrect and it should read 800, then I'm stumped. Is it usual to see an LTE rollout that doesn't include the "usual" B25 at first? Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  3. So, I'm wondering if/when this new signal data can be incorporated into Robert's maps. Not until after nTelos-land is formally under Shentel? Sooner? What say the powers-that-be? Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  4. Hope so! Most of the LTE I saw was 800, so I was a little surprised it wasn't holding up in buildings Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  5. Well, I did 2 ##update#'s at home this AM, and another profile update on the road, but it seemed fairly spontaneous. Hard to factor out my anxiety/excitement after all the waiting! Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  6. While running errands today, there was LTE *almost* everywhere, but my phone would revert to EVDO all to easily. I even had to do another profile update going up Rt 29 to Target. It seemed better in the near western part of Albemarle. I suspect there's some serious optimization that still needs to happen, although I'd hoped that was already done for the nTelos users. 7. Not that I'm complaining about having LTE, but I miss having the base location/address that I had with CDMA Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  8. Yeah, we gotta check the backhaul! Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  9. Will do. SCP logging already running. Don't know why I can't do both . . . Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  10. I just realized I'm going to Richmond airport tonight to pick up my daughter. I'll be curious how the transition between nTelos-land and points east is, and I'll run Sensorly to generate some data. Fun times! ???? Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  11. Sent a positive report in via Sprint Zone app - figured they don't get much good news ???? Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  12. Good thing this is all happening on a Saturday! (with apologies to those of you having to work today) Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  13. So, after my second ##update#, it's here (Ivy, west of C'ville)! EDIT: Definite speed improvement over previous <1 Mps: Happy Thanksgiving to us all! ???? Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  14. Nothing in Ivy west of C'ville as yet Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  15. That welcome to Shentel map showed all of the current nTelos coverage (light blue, along with the current Shentel coverage in the Valley) with some expansion of the network (orange) as all of it being 4G (whenever) (Edited for clarity) Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  16. Ok, I hope you get permission to share the map! ???? Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  17. "Super tiny dot", meaning what? Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  18. Ok, how about C'ville/Albemarle County? Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  19. I hope it's that Soon™ Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  20. Maybe Roanoke is mistaking 4G for Syrian refugees. (Sorry, too Soon™?) Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  21. nTelos is dying much later than it should have . . . Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  22. So, a little less Soon™ ???? Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  23. When I'm on eHRPD in nTelos-land after a restart or profile update, I have no data connection for a few mins until it spontaneously changes back to EVDO Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
  24. Nope, nothing in C'ville yet. (I just returned home myself, but I've learned to not get my hopes up very much.) Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk
  25. Yeah, I hear you! Caught LTE passing by Waynesboro late this summer on my way to Staunton from C'ville. It's so hard to wait! ???? Sent from my HTC One M9 on Tapatalk
