  1. I don't believe it is tri band. The only phone I know that does support the 800mhz frequency is the iphone 5s. I am not sure but the S3 may also but someone would need to verify that. Even the iphone 5s doesn't support the Tri band but just two of the three band that will be broadcasted. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
  2. Could somebody kindly inform me how I could check to see if the 3G and LTE I Am receiving are from the same tower? I'm in this now awkward phase here in Avondale where I get 1-2 bars of LTE in certain parts of the house and 3 bars if I'm lucky. The other half of the time it kicks to 3-4 bars of 3G. I'm curious if it's switching towers or just kicking back to 3G on the same tower because the lte reception is no good. I pull an average of -108 according to the engineering mode, so not so great. I'm just wondering if it's a different tower then my hopes of getting better lte reception one day can carry on
  3. That tower may not be accepted yet and is currently being tested. Should be up pretty soon if all goes well
  4. So for the very first time I run a speed test from my iPhone 5 of 4g LTE out of curiosity and pulled like 17mbs. Then I got home and tested the 3 bars of 3G I normally get and pulled like 4kbs! Seriously can't wait for that tower to get some love.
  5. Getting LTE on the 101 north from the I-10 on the west valley! So far it's lasting from on ramp from the 10 and I'm passing Glendale now with a decent connection still! Whoo hoo, West Valley!
  6. Well, I am with Virgin which uses Sprint towers at a bit less of the cost. Or sprint has a no contract plan which is also great that I would definitely recommend getting. Both are much better than the prices for other carriers in my opinion and with this overhaul and my experience with using the 4g LTE, it's certainly super fast and worth the price. EDIT: and to answer your speed test question...I don't have the stats yet. I got a new iPhone 5 after being an android guy for several years and haven't gotten the hang of everything yet. But it is so much faster than 3G just from loading YouTube videos and pages.
  7. Not necessarily, there's still Bumblebee AZ and it's population of 10
  8. Not to get in the middle, but guys there's nothing any of us can do but wait and even complain to Sprint if you really feel the need to. Otherwise it's just a game of patience. We could all debate the wait time and why we feel it should already be here and so on. All that's really going to do is upset the moderators and get people in trouble over something trivial. Meanwhile people around the world are still fighting and killing over food and water; and were just sitting here arguing that our 4g LTE isn't here yet...
  9. So how is it that multiple newt LTE spots are popping up yet they aren't being reported on the site acceptance thread still?
  10. Does it usually take a while for it to pop up on sensorly via the browser?
  11. Well good news, I went out to Camelback and 19th ave and to my pleasure the LTE showed up on my iPhone 5! So yes, Virgin also is able to get this. Must support band 25 I'd guess then too.
