  1. I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand I think it will help increase NV deployment (probably with an influx for cash from Softbank) but on the other hand I don't know how I feel about Sprint being owned by a Japanese company. They will probably change Sprint's name to Softbank, to expand their brand.
  2. It says they are in "Advanced Talks" but it sounds like its almost a done deal. http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/11/softbank-acquire-sprint-nextel/ What does this mean for NV/LTE???
  3. I have seen workers up on the tower at JTB and I-95 about 2-3 weeks ago. You can see the new antennas they installed. Also, when I do a speed test around that tower I get between 1.5-2.0 Mbps on 3G.
  4. I average probably 0.40Mbps. It just depends on the location, some places I get over 1Mbps easy, others 0.03Mbps (mostly at like malls and movie theaters where the load on the towers is extremely heavy)
  5. What is really weird is if I put my EVO in "CDMA/LTE" my data connection bounces from 1X to no data at all and I lose (EVDO) 3G altogether. However, if I put the Network Mode in "CDMA Only" 3G comes back and everything's normal. Until Monday, I have always had it in CDMA/LTE mode with no issues, why now???
  6. Since yesterday I have been experiencing dropped data/calls in different locations around town (home and work) and thought it was just my phone acting up. However, I confirmed with a few other friends around town that they have been experiencing the same issues. Is this the beginning of the NV upgrade in Jacksonville?
