I have yet to connect to any B26 or B41 even sitting near a known B41 site. I wonder if the phone is broke. 0.17 radio all bands enabled.
Sent from Nexus 5
Not much B26 in our area yet.

I took the advice and grabbed that app as well. However I, too, noticed the issue with the app setting the priorities differently from what i originally had in place. I wonder why that is. Also, if I actually go in using the*#*#3282#*#* method, the only choices I get for band priority are 0 or 1. There is not even an option for a 2 or a 3 and all 3 bands I have set to "enable." Is that odd or is that normal?
That is normal. Give B41 & B26 a 1. It will scan for those two first.

Koch Park ecsfb issues

It doesn't have to be a nexus. Wouldn't any triband device provide the same result? Spark update or not. Shouldn't matter.
Sent from my Nexus 5
That is exactly what I said earlier but he isn't liking that answer I guess. If it was ecsfb it would mess with all tri-band phones.

[ name=digiblur" post="312403" timestamp="1398711616]I just told you how to know.
Well true but it couldn't just be any triband phone as my n5 obviously isn't yet spark enabled. So in order to establish an effective baseline, it would have to be another n5 in the same location. My local Sprint store has no live demo of an N5 as I've already tried that. No one I know nor live with nor work with has a Sprint N5 either. Hence, my dilemma.
Use any Tri-band device in a sprint store. Spark is not going to solve ecsfb issues. If those devices are connecting fine to LTE then it is your device. If they aren't connecting then I would say ecsfb.

Not WiMax. So your Sprint devices don't detect it!

And then, as we all know, about halfway through the major market rollout, Clear started running into financial problems. Since they were running out of time to meet FCC Minimum Coverage Standards, they have largely abandoned Major Market Rollouts and running around and setting up Protection Sites.
However, the cities listed above are likely not to ever get protection sites. The Old Clearwire Pre-Wimax signals are still being broadcast in these cities, and they have pretty substantial coverage areas. So Clearwire is just going to jump right over them.
And since Sprint (and likely Clear too) are migrating toward LTE, it is likely these cities WILL NEVER see WiMax signals. Sad!
Cities the size of Dayton, Anchorage and Reno are secondary markets. This is a major oversight by Clear and Sprint. Tsk, tsk! Not to mention the major oversights of the primary markets of San Diego, Phoenix, Detroit, Memphis, Indianapolis, Birmingham...
Call again. That is the first I'veheard them deny someone

I thought power and volume down took a screenshot.
I found it I think

No go to Setting>Backup & Reset>Factory Data Reset. It should be last option at bottom of that screen.
I don't think he can read it cause it is in a different language. Doesn't holding the power and volume down button bring up a recovery menu if you hold it down long enough?

I read that it can only be changed thru MSL code, unless there's another way. But, idk which code to use.

If you haven't taken the KK update you can type this in the dialer screen and it will flash across the bottom ##443336772#

The update enables Sprint Spark on Bands 26 and 41, along with providing "miscellaneous Android updates."
Sprint has updated their software status page so I would imagine people will start getting it at some point.

I really like the Kitkat update. Everything is snappy and stable.
Dave you don't count with your 100hr battery life that you use for a door stop. Lol

Money is on yes.... Light probably is an over statement with that battery life.

Right. I know if I didn't stream music all day I could get a lot longer life. But I'm always streaming music and talking on hangout or social media when not busy at work.

I haven't charged my phone since Monday morning and I am holding strong at 48% remaining. I might be able to make it to Friday at this pace. Holy Kitkat, Batman!
Are you a light user of your phone?

Depending on which way choose to drive home I can get LTE the entire way home. If I go the faster way there is about a 5 minute gap of no LTE and crappy 3G. Come on Sprint hook me up.

14th and Olive
The two sectors that would cover the Scottrade Center were garbage. Couldn't get any data out of them inside and outside of the stadium. North sector was great.

I'm actually planning on doing it within the next few weeks. Finally gotten ahead on my financial commitments so I should have enough to give a decent donation. Schooling is expensive these days, and these gas prices:/.

Understood. I started with $5 donations.

Not really, I live in between city limits so I have a union zip. I'm down AH where it forks off from being the outer road of i44. A bit less than a quarter mile from the highway.

So I just got 800 voice a second in my house for the very first time. I wasn't quick enough to screen shot, I've never heard that signalcheck chime before lol. The odd thing is that I lost all 3g data from noon until now, even now its been hit and miss. It nocked me off an -84dbm 1x RTT signal to put me on 800 too which I found odd. My ec/lo for 1xrtt has also shot up from the usual -15db ish range to -35 to -40 db. Maybe this is a sign of testing?

I couldn't call or text, either. It was pathetic.
800 would help a ton, but it's schedule is TBD. :-/
I was able to call but no usable data.
