On the way home along the I-15 corridor it parked me on att roaming... I couldn't get it to kick off.  I don't know if they are working on things out here or what...

But even my signal check has been bouncing in and out of signal. It won't let me load the screen recording of it though. So I don't know if it's the app or the signal

I had full bars but no LTE symbol. Could do anything. So maybe still work in progress.

Well I am disappointed in both Tmo and Sprint. This location in southern utah that is a "resort" area of sorts. Is blocked by a few mountains. I tracked the tower down so I know where it's at in relation.  Point being, they should have\need to add another tower or something.

The part I am most disgusted by. The roaming agreement with att (which btw solved the problem with a tower in a better spot). But the data here .04 & .03. What type of agreement is that.  And to compound matters (not the providers fault) but the place we are staying, is having a wifi issue as well...

    This trip sucks.

This exactly. Same here in Nebraska. Sprint used to roam on USCC here and the speeds were very useable! Not like native Sprint but good enough.

Now when roaming, it wants to latch on AT&T and speeds are horrendous. Like throttled to .05 up and .05 down. SUCKS!

I was in Fayette Missouri this weekend and my phone roamed on ATT but I had no data at all. Thankfully the stadium had Wi-Fi or I would've been dead in the water.

Thanks! Unfortunately Google Play doesn't pass on any user info or comments, so it's difficult to pinpoint those.. but one of my other crash reporting libraries caught it (the username from diagnostic reports is included on those). That crash is something I've been working on, it just recently started over the past couple of months and only impacts GSM/WCDMA connections. Looks like you were on HSPA at the time of the crash. I added some additional error tracking in this version so your report was very helpful.. hopefully I can squash it.

Thanks Mike. I try to send in all my crash reports just in case something is different in the reason it crashes.

Others are having issues with recent S20 updates and SCP as well. Unfortunately I'm not getting any crash reports at all about it. If you disable battery optimization for SCP, others have said that resolves it. Have you tried that?

What error does it show when you try sending a report?

I just changed. I'll let you know if I have anymore trouble.

I posted it over on the s20 page... Because I cant decide if its a network issue or a phone model issue..

All our s20s are having issues... havent heard if the 2 kids with i-phone 11s are having the issue.. but the 2 ultras, 1 + and 1 regular are... and its becoming more than just an inconvenience... its possibly costing me money (phone used for work)

Have you randomly had VM with no call??

Just Saturday my wife called me.. didnt ring on my end, but looking at her phone history.. there it is, NOTHING on mine.. She said it rang the 5 or 6 times then to VM.

I shouldnt have to wonder or restart my phone everyday hoping to fix some "issue" that I am sure is known by now

I believe it is more network. I have a S20+ and my wife has an A71 5G. We both experience it at different times and a reboot fixed the issue. Not sure if this helps.

T-Mobile's LTE network was pretty close to unusable in the Union Station during business hours before COVID-19 hit.  My office is right next to there, and has a DAS with Verizon, AT&T and legacy Sprint on it, but they never added T-Mobile.  I have to go in tomorrow, I'll be interested to see if my phone grabs on to the legacy Sprint PCS carrier on the DAS.

If the DAS is anything like my job you will be fine. I have the S20+ and when I'm in the tunnels under the building my phone flawlessly switches over B25 with no issues.

Has anyone seen any of the former Sprint stores close down? Around here it seems that every single Sprint store was kept open and converted to T-Mobile no matter how close it was to an existing T-Mobile store. I've recently noticed several of the converted stores have gotten new permanent signage replacing the temporary banner signs from Day 1 conversion.

Actually had a T-Mobile store close that was near a Sprint store and they rebranded the Sprint store

Are you guys using a Samsung with the recent Android 11 update? That update is resulting in 5G details missing from SCP (and probably other similar apps), not sure if that is related. Samsung is not reporting 5G-NR RSRP in that update -- please let them know if they have any sort of beta feedback channels. I do have extra crash reporting in this latest beta update, so I have a lot of new information that I am still combing through.

I have not found anything that includes MIMO info, although there area several new features in the Android 11 API that I am still pouring through. Those service/engineering screens typically use proprietary functions that are not part of the standard Android API.

I am Samsung but using Android 10. Like mdob it was working fine then it just started acting weird

@mikejeep The first couple of days after the update everything seemed fine, then all of a sudden yesterday it "hung" 3 different times, the only way to get it to work again was to go force stop from settings. Two of the 3 times I did have it running in split window mode so I could see SCP and the service mode screen at the same time. I've had no issues today. Not sure what triggered yesterday, I had received the September android update the day before but I ran SCP that day with no issues. I've had 0 issues with the new update on my T-Mobile S20+.

Another note/ feature request: since the Android update the service mode now shows PCC MIMO info. I wonder if that is reported in the OS in a way you can display in SCP.
