  1. If you could get any SCP screenshots showing address/BID it would be appreciated for any towers in that area, even if no 4G

No problem, I will start accumulating them and post some this weekend.  The only tower that is not hardware complete is IN03XC139

.  Even though I know the B26 card is installed, waiting for everything on top.  They completed structure improvements  a few months back.

  2.

CI70XC744  - Is located just southeast of these coordinates by maybe a mile.  This is not a new tower, I will run and check to see if 4G is finally turned on.

The hardware has been on there for months.  This tower and IN03XC139 are both fed via microwave from CI33XC050.

    CI33XC050  & IN03XC139  have the new 8x8 panels!

    Not broadcasting on 4G...

  3. We have a brand new site, 3G accepted, could be pico near National Rd. between Ohio 320 and Elkhorn Rd, New Paris, OH. 39.836421,-84.775958

Any Dayton area hunters want to check it out?

  4. You need a new hobby dude. I personally wouldn't feel like a decent person if i took candid pictures of proprietary equipment that supports our nation's telecommunications infrastructure, or the employees who have the clearance to work on this equipment, and blasted it on the internet for any person worldwide to view without authorization. This invasion could jeopardize the tech's clearance and their employment.

Personally, i would recommend removing every copy of this file from public servers and private media before a cease and desist comes. There's a reason cell towers have locks and signs that say "no trespassing"... If you're not an employee, you're not authorized to be on the property... Which includes using a camera or other device to view inside the cabinet.

You don't want to be on the receiving end of any NSA/FCC activity. Every day they bust down peoples doors and confiscate every electronic device they own for doing things like this.

Being a geek about cell phones is fine, but we need to make sure we gain information legally and respect those nice enough to provide it.

Seriously? There is no additional information in my post or picture that has not already been publicly shared by Sprint. I have seen more info about their equipment shared to the public via "Press Releases", share holder meetings that are broadcast on the Internet or even when Sprint invites reporters to a site to show off said equipment.

So now maybe you need to find a new hobby....

  5. I ran into a Integration Tech up here in Richmond, IN yesterday.  She was installing B26 cards at 10 towers in the local area.  Stated that her and another tech has a list of 79 towers in the Cincinnati market to get completed soon.

I zoomed in from outside the gate to get a pic of her installing it.

  6. Did your install finish?  If so do you have any first impressions?  If you are in an area with LTE, any RF performance differences?

Seems snappier, Knock on/off is quicker to respond.  Have to drive toward a 4G at lunch to see if anything is better.

  7. Do you happen to know how to upload it possibly to someone on XDA?  Lets get this show on the road haha.  Seems like you were the first to get it.

It is installing now....do you know where the download would be on my phone?  If I can find it, I will throw it up.

  8. Not sure if this helped or not.  I have been manually checking all morning.....nothing.... I restarted my phone...checked a few minutes later and it was there.

  9. This is the tower at factory dr. Any know what they're looking at? I still cant tell the difference on these things. And for some reason while I was under this tower I was connected to the rt 4 in Hamilton tower on 1x800 and had a very weak lte signal lte discovery had it as 12.5 miles away.

The top rack looks like it may be Sprint, legacy and new panels up there.

  10. Painted some purple in Richmond, IN - we have 2 towers that were turned on yesterday (Band 25).  Yesterday I had to be in "LTE Only" on my G2 to pick it up, this morning I did not.

Hopefully they light up the remaining towers and other bands very soon.

  11. The g2 will pick it up but it has a better antenna so it doesn't need to fall back to 800 to hold a call. It can stay on rtt and do it's thing the majority of the time.

Thanks for the quick reply!  That makes sense.
