  1. I couldn't find where it mentions how much the extra monthly charge would be to keep Premium resolution. Is there any mention of that?
  2. I-68 in Washington County is USCC coverage only, no native Sprint signal until you get into Hancock. I-81 isn't the central PA I'm talking about - Places like Williamsport and State College and all of I-80 would do well under ShenTel's umbrella.
  3. I was more thinking of "Northern/Central" VA. Like Loudon and the fringes of Fairfax counties. The more rural parts of Maryland like in Washington and Frederick County is much needed as well. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  4. The Shentel transcript did have an interesting nugget in there: Q "There has been some changes on the sprint side...work with some of the rural telcos to establish better partnership so -- can you give us an update that will be helpful." A "Well, to your last point first, we have been getting some phone calls...over the last 60 days from groups that are considering expanding their relationship with sprint. So we have been positive about that because we feel very positive about our current relationship with sprint. As far as expanding the area, those discussions are going forward...it is probably going to go relatively small initially to kind of lay the ground work...but then once the ground work is laid it will set the stage for continued expanding our relationship with sprint. And hopefully we will have something to share this year." I personally would like to see Shentel take over central VA, PA, and NY.
  5. Well, I just moved for a job... Fortunately its from one excellent Sprint coverage area to another. I have been driving around a lot of Winchester, VA and see almost exclusively 10x10 B25. I also found a couple areas with B41. Interestingly I was in Toys R US July 25th and also experienced (similar to what derrph said) really slow to no connection despite good signal and 15 Mbs download on speed test.
  6. I wonder why sprint is opting out of the Das and instead using repeaters. Is it time to deploy, money, or incompatible frequency? It can't be solely money as sprint would be splitting the cost with the other 3. I also think it's funny that half of the article was sprint news and a sprint spokesman was quoted. Methinks that giant sprint sign on Mt Washington is working.
  7. Woo hoo Pittsburgh! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  8. There was a guy in the driver's seat and one in the back. I'm not sure if it was full autonomous. I do remember reading they were supposed to be using a test track and the busways not actual roads Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  9. I also saw an autonomous Uber car yesterday driving down Penn Ave. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  10. Here is one from just now, same site but further away. I am away from my computer because I'm in the process of moving so I downloaded Tapatalk. I took a ##debug# screenshot this time. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  11. Sitting in front of South Hills village mall... Checked engineering screen and it's 10x10! Speed test is 50 down 20 up.. Check out my Ookla Speedtest result. What's your speed? http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/2029799388
  12. Currently in hammondsport, NY but in a few months moving to Littleton, NH Not even covered by sprint but he doesn't seem to want to upgrade or switch. Living in upstate NH though may force him away
  13. My dad has a Sanyo scp 3180 flip phone. Will that one be affected
  14. Clear's network was insufficient because they ran out of money during buildout, in fact that's how Robert got his start before this website came into existence (tracking WiMAX rollout). If Saw didn't have the capital or the tools to do his job then he can't do the job. Its crazy to think just how much $$$ it takes to build cellular networks in the US (and how picky US cell customers are). If US Cellular's investment was in Mexico or the UK they would probably have ubiquitous LTE.
  15. It could be a *shakes head* up and down. Or maybe a nervous twitch?
  16. Nice to see such a strong commitment from son and softbank for sprint. Maybe when he is ready to retire, marcelo will take over softbank
  17. Three separate courts have upheld the ruling. I'd put money on the Supreme Court favoring the FCC. Especially so with scalia out
  18. I read somewhere that there were possible plans for iMessage for Android.
  19. What is the special edition S7? Is it the batman edition that Samsung had announced for some Asian countries?
  20. So apple is opening up Siri to devs and maybe iMessage for Android? Is an Alexa competitor in the pipeline too? I am personally creeped out by an always on concierge device in my living room...they'll all learn about my plans to take over the world!
  21. Did you get any photos of that baby panda?
  22. I've been reading posts in other markets where they're ragging on Sprint coverage and performance. I'd just like to point out that I traverse across downtown and the northside daily, live in the southern suburbs, and occasionally go to the western suburbs...I've not seen 3G in years and the service is more reliable than in-building WiFi. Sprint hasn't won Rootmetrics in Pittsburgh but for me the service is fantastic and I pay <$100 a month all in for 2 lines.
  23. Yes, this is what it looks like during the day...And for some reason the city wants to keep it looking like this
