  1. I used to get a lot of spam calls on my cell line too. I stared entering the numbers into sprints auto block list for my phone line. Seemed to work because I haven't been called in over a year by a robot or any telemarketers. Sprint.com>my preferences>block voice>click on ur phone>select the radio button for block only phone numbers on this list>enter each phone number manually and they will be forever blocked on your line Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  2. I'll be driving up to my parent's place in Jefferson, NH this summer. I hope the roaming LTE is usable. There was only 1x roaming last time I was there (Christmas 2016). Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  3. Inner Stalin. I love it. I'd tell them Do svidaniya bitches! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  4. Makes me think that sprint considers itself as ready, willing, and able to be a stand alone entity without mergers or acquisition. Masa said so himself, he has also said open to anything.. So why impose limits? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah and they'll have already cleared the fcc, doj, and sec. And we'll all be like this: Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  6. I just tested and can send SMS and MMS over WiFi. Cool.
  7. Haha, I don't read arsyrn posts so I wouldn't know what he talks about. But notice the brevity of my post and know I'm not him... Anyway, I didn't think about the possibility of b25+B41 CA. That'd do quite nicely [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  8. I wonder if with HPUE the importance of band 25 will diminish to sprint. Maybe, with enough execution on B41, B25 could be a bargaining chip if a merger was proposed. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  9. $8 billion to buy the spectrum...how much to deploy it? Likely another $8 billion (permitting, buying antennae, upgrading cabinets, installing on the towers) for nationwide coverage. So buying and procuring 600 MHz alone is half of Sprint's current debt load.
  10. I hope AT&T can get this up and running as soon as possible to help first responders and alleviate traffic on commercial carriers when a disaster occurs.
  11. Sprint will include complimentary dental floss with your next bill!
  12. Shentel's most recent call transcript was released and they do want to expand East and North with more acquisitions of Sprint territory! Yay! Excerpt: Q: Okay. And last one for me, then you mentioned that this was -- area was a targeted first because it was nTelos' territory but it wasn't part of the affiliate or maybe even the wholesale agreement. That suggest that there's more in the wings. What's your appetite? How do you kind of pace it? A: So, we're looking to have discussions with Sprint to expand our coverage really in both East and North primarily and I think that there is very good prospect, you will see some additional areas like this. As far as the size of them, the good news is that that's kind of in our control. We can decide and have had this discussion with Sprint that we do have an appetite to continue to grow our footprint, but we want to do it in a way that we know we can manage it well. http://seekingalpha.com/article/4056571-shenandoah-telecommunications-shen-ceo-christopher-french-q4-2016-results-earnings-call?part=single
  13. Fairly ho-hum article about Mobilitie until I read the statement from a Webster, WI city board member: After the meeting, one board member said privately, “This company got some kind of sweetheart deal from the folks in Madison.” http://www.burnettcountysentinel.com/news/communication-tower-demand-unsettles-webster-board/article_4fc5e5c4-098f-11e7-82dc-57c06d54aa15.html
  14. Saying something like that is short sighted... if you don't try to innovate then you'll be stuck in the same business model forever. In that same article AT&T said a similar service is working well for them - so it isn't money wasted...its just not the kind of return on investment Sprint needs at the moment.
  15. I like that statement, right on! Interstate 68 is fast becoming the preferred option over the Penna Turnpike because its not a toll road. It's smart to try to cover that interstate fully even though it is mainly a drive through and not stop kind of area.
  16. Wireless and cable cos don't want to be dumb pipes anymore, think about how much Google, YouTube, Netflix, etc have made off the backs of Verizon, Comcast, time Warner... Mergers nowadays are going to be full of strategery Comcast/NBC, vz/yahoo, at&t/directv, t-mobile/dish, sprint/(insert media company) Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  17. Yet when you drive into Virginia, except for Fairfax and parts of Prince William and Loudon counties, everybody tries their hardest to act southern. I swear the southern accents are fake and most of the streets are named after Confederate generals. It still seems all about who side they fought with during the civil war.
  18. I downloaded the new Android messages app for my wife and I's phones. Does this mean that she and I can send RCS messages to each other? Does sending RCS messages count against our data cap?
  19. Americans have benefited greatly from the FCC's decision to keep 4 Nationwide networks in the US of A. In fact, I'm not sure of a FCC policy decision that has enjoyed such a direct benefit to everyone living here. I don't think the FCC will reverse its decision (even if Ajit Pai is in charge now) to let Sprint/T-Mobile merge because of how much investment/innovation/price reductions have occurred in the past 5 years. I do think the FCC will work hard to ensure that there are 4 major players - in whatever form that may be.
  20. I updated yesterday afternoon and overall its great but the (Samsung) stock messenger app's colors are really muted. The chat bubbles are almost gray..does anyone know if there a way to change the chat bubble colors?
  21. No carrier is going to knock $110 dollars/month off of your bill for loyalty purposes. Not gonna happen.
  22. this is pretty cool. Massive MIMO on 1.9 MHz... brought to you by non other than ShenTel https://www.wirelessweek.com/news/2017/02/blue-danube-reveals-fdd-massive-mimo-trials-t-shentel
