  1. Sooooo the question. It looks like they are giving $500 for a note20 ultra trade in for a s23 ultra, I use an s22 as my daily, the note is the home phone, so I would simply rotate (still owe some on the s22) So is it worth it to get the 23 v 22, or should I wait and hope they give as good for the note, when the 24 comes out?? Did that make sense??? LOL
  2. Got my wife 1, replacing the s20. Sammy only offered 200, Google 260 (255 5 hours later in the day, wth?? LOL) My son swapped out his 7 for an 8 like Mike, he wanted a new watch anyway, so did that deal. I am on the S22 Ultra, so probably no swap out soon for me. But have an extra line with my Note 20 Ultra. I am surprised by the hot trash offer for it. Around that 350 I think.
  3. As I am starting my journey through which is better in regards to phones... I am going to compare 2 things The go5g plus/next Or maintain my current plan, and just buy phones straight through vendors etc (if you have good trade ins) So far yes the go5g is kind of pricey, BUT if you want to upgrade your phone every 1 or 2 years (which means a good trade in value) its about what you would spend on service and getting phones anyway. The days of getting phones for nothing, are about over I think. The problem is, yes when you have lots of lines like you. That $44 or $54 per line starts to get spendy. Where as my wife got a pixel 8, with her s-20 trade in (google gave more than sammy go figure) and a free set of ear buds, for $14 a month, yes its their dumb 36 month thing (they need to let you select options, not all or 36 months) My son traded in his pixe 7 pro, for the 8 pro for like $500 plus he got a free watch ( which is the 14) Long story short. No good answers yet. unless you play the bounce back and forth game. But maybe carriers have got that figured out to.
  4. Their website to logon is beginning to bug me. It appears if I don't go through their hoops, I can't log in. it kicks me out. Them screwing up security and allowing hacks, does not mean I should walk across Legos to access my account. Also Trying to decide what's better. that go5g with the every 2, or next every 1. For 11 lines its 495, or 605. no auto payment discounts, nothing really. A majority on the account don't even use 1/2 the "perks" While on the flipside my wife and son just bought a pixel8 and pro for roughly &16 month (at 36 mths, why can't they offer a 24 option?) with 1 getting a new watch, and the other getting ear buds. AND the s20 got $60 more in trade in with G, instead of Sammy. It really is getting stupid out there, CS sucks and $$ is going up. If it wasn't for the actual service being close to perfect... I might be gone
  5. Very smart... Might have to do something like this... Our $$ don't vary much, but 11 lines on a biz (almost everyone is family) it can vary. Also, now (not that I really ever used it) lose the ins the CC provided for phones
  6. This is actually a REALLY good point. I don't think enough people have thought about it this way. I got 10 days to decide....I need to call (I wish the store knew better for biz lines how things work) And play with the numbers for which way to go.
  7. I am a little late to the party reading a bunch of this. But here is my $.02 Get ready for this thing across the board with MANY of the places you do business with. The way the economy is heading. Not many places are giving out "free/cheap" money or credit. they don't want to be upside down with 1000s of customers owing money on phones. I can see phones as being 1 of the first things people walk away from, or change quickly/frequently. The days of handing out crazy credit limits are gone. Everyone check your Ins rates to. They have been climbing, commercial policies have more than doubled in some industries.
  8. so every so often I seem to lose cellular connectivity. Just now I had a call cut mid way (on Wi-Fi calling) and then didn't get the call back, just went right to VM. And I sent a text, that came back unavailable to send. All while on my home WIFI. It has also happened randomly out in the wild. I am guessing because of Text, it is on the cellular side.... How do they send texts now that VOLTE/NR/IP is how calls are made?? Anyone else have issues like this
  9. I wonder if thats what broke my smart irrigation controls. Disconnected me and wouldnt load up the app... had to do a few updates/off/on cycles, and then it finally worked
  10. Business account just got the email last night. Tried their sign in\up thing. And I need to call in to get setup as the account administrator. Grrrr

  12. Ok was at an old Sprint store, now Tmo..... turns out the word is... END OF MONTH ALL SPRINT BILLING SHOULD BE MOVED TO TMO. The guy said Tmo has now sent out legal letters to people who haven't switched sims yet, that their phone will stop working. Anyone here still have a Sprint Sim that can verify if they got that letter??
  13. I read that wrong to begin with lol..... I was thinking that's a lie I just did it. But it was at a Tmo store, activating a I-phone on a sprint account.
  14. So I hit a N25 last night, but my signal strength reading in the notifications bar was ZERO. And the phone icon in SCP was grey with triangle exclamation. Data worked well, and when I made a phone call it switched to some gsm thing.. It was VERY odd
  15. oh here's 1 for you. SO on that new pixel I added and they charged full price..... Yeah on that line it says there is a contract on it, starting 1-3-23, ending in 25..... Uhhhhh I never got ANY paper work. So now I guess I need to call and fix that... smh Honestly I think they are going to make more people mad taking this long, than to just kick people over to plans similar with a discount somewhere

  17. Nothing on mine, biz account 10 lines....Makes it a pain to upgrade phones, still goes through sprint. The last one, the idiot CS guy billed me for the whole phone instead of the credits, and return package for the old device credit.. smh, Even when I reminded him to send out the device return kit. On the flip side, called in, got the credit out right, kept the s-20 ultra... soooo I guess I'll use it for the next 1 IF they ever switch ours
  18. Crazy all this temp work for 1 game.. Take what a week or 2, to set up and take down.. 15 miles of fiber, 2000 antennas. Insane for 1 game
  19. yea but it wont sync to a cable, like my note 20 did... I have a 10" in my work truck, and bought the usb-c adapter to plug it in.. worked on the note 20... wont on my 22 ultra... its buggy
  20. I need them to "find" my moms house... She lives down the street from where sprint had the wimax tower (b41) and uesd that internet.. So I know just about everything is there... But man they cant seem to say "its in your area" and the signal is a little wonky... Sprint service was good there, on a hill good LOS.. But TMo cant get it together for that spot.... .its buggy, I am tired of deal with Comcast, and my mom is on a fixed income type thing, so the $25 would be awesome for here

  23. I just hope it doesnt make me reset my PW to log in every 5th time.. Sprints side has been wonky for a while. The 1 year I went to Tmo, I did like their online stuff 3-1 vs sprint Having a biz account might be making it troublesome, but I don't know why, everything in there is pretty straight forward. I heard it "might" be the financing issues on the sprint side. I do know if I want to upgrade any of the lines, it still has to go through sprint, if I try on the Tmo side itll force me to pay off the few I have, vs it just bringing them over.
  24. So what am I missing??? Why cant i get the s22 ultra do a screen share through cord?? Trying to get it to share to my 10" auto screen. I could enable it with the note 20.. but I cant seem to get this to do it.. All the videos show 1 way, but that setting isnt there.
  25. Having a business account is ding 1 Still on sprint billing ding 2 wanting to do a flip flop with another # ding 3. I am sure there are a few other things that make my account difficult LOL On a positive note, I brought up to the store guy a few weeks ago. "why isn't my daughter getting the same discount as the other one did, that just happened within a week of each other?" He looked it over, submitted it, and I got a nice fat refund credited. So that was nice
