Im sure he meant it when he said it, but for obvious reasons it never came to fruition, and this new one, I find it super hard for Sprint to justify carrying it.
I think they should concentrate on devices that are a bit more "forward" thinking.
The Sprint Priv model never got FCC Certs, Keyone BBB100-3 past certs 2 weeks ago
-
They confirmed the last blackberry and it didn't happen lol
The Priv was never confirmed for Sprint because of the SnapDragon 801 in it

Now subtract 45 mhz for repeater splits.
Now take 860 to 869 mhz out of the equation because that belongs to Sprint - 45mhz as well. Now figured out how much available spectrum that Verizon and AT&T have in 800mhz - Sprint and public safety frequencies and your going to find out it isn't that much.

600mhz won't be up for at least a couple of years no matter what t-mobile says. Broadcasters are fighting because of that issue, they haven't even vacated yet. And it's all fdd.

Especially after Comcast and a few others are losing a patent suit that Sprint brought on.

T-Mobile's answer to the Verizon Unlimited is about to end.

Only 84mhz of spectrum was auctioned off, broadcasters have 39 months starting May 1st to start transition or loss of license. 70 mhz of spectrum in 5 mhz blocks are assigned a-g at 5x5mhz up /down. It is fdd, no one involved yet knows what blocks they have, 14 mhz will be used as gaurd bands and special innovations. Basically you looking at the same setup as 700 mhz

Your not getting it, the FCC hasn't made the bids final yet at all until the end of April, direct from there schedule. It isn't something that is going to happen overnight just because the auction ended. Be 2020 before you actually get to use 600 mhz devices at all.

Basically you have 7 blocks, 5x5mhz lte-fdd a-g, 14mhz of gaurd bands, and bid winners announced next month, TV stations have up to 39 months to move.

Read this before you get your hopes up to much about 600 mhz, have a ways to go before you see anything.

You are confusing prepaid with postpaidI thought Sprint has joined the rest of the industry at billing a full months use, no mater when the account is closed.

The bill you just got was from 2/7 to 3/6 that is a postpaid bill for which you owe. Look at the actual bill and you will see the dates you are paying for. This is what they told me
"Thank you for taking my call. Once you're cancel within the billing cycle , it's require that you still pay for the entire month of service. Apologize for the inconvenience. Sorry that you're no longer with us, you're welcome to join us back anytime you chooses. Thank you for your service with us in the pass. Sprint Cares. AC"
That sounds like I am paying forward a month. My cycle ended on March 7th. I ported out on March 10th. This is my final bill. They aren't comping me three days of service.

Post paid is not billed in advanced, you are billed after the fact. The bill you just received is for the last complete use cycle.

You can put anything in the Facebook column as adware, and is only going to get even more bloated, and your battery life will shrink.

Oh oh, AT&T having problems today.

Indeed there is: https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016-how-to-fix-sprint/ (January 26, 2016)
"The mahogany castle now stands empty. Claure works in another building on a floor of low-slung cubicles and conference rooms named for U.S. cities. His desk faces a huge wall screen displaying Sprint’s customer gains and losses, updated every two hours."
"The numbers in black (good) and red (bad) are vetted each day at a meeting attended by all top executives and run by Claure. “If you aren’t hitting your marks, you’re expected to come in with a plan to fix it,” says Kevin Crull, president of Sprint’s 15-state central area. “There’s patience for your plan as long as it’s measured in hours and days, not weeks and months.”"
You do know that article is January 2016 right?

I see the Samsung 8 and 8+ pass thru the fcc For sprint on Wednesday and I see a ZTE device went thru on the 3rd.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if this device would be sold to Sprint Business customers only but also having the option of purchasing it unlocked and bringing it to Sprint for non-business accounts.

that wouldn't be a bad thing looking at the bands it supports

I guess the blackberry keyone(mercury) is coming to Sprint.
