  1. It means ShenTel is a Sprint affiliate and runs the network from Harrisonburg, VA. to Harrisburg, Pa. along the I81 corridor and is currently upgrading the network. ShenTel is short for Shenandoah Telephone. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  2. Winchester is in ShenTel territory. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  3. Thing is, I'm not in a LTE area currently, won't be until Friday when I pass thru Baltimore on my way to Newark. There are 2 different receive measurements in my engineering screen. 1 is receive signal strength and the other is received power in dbm. Being a ham. I know the difference in the 2. 4. As far as I can tell, LTE signal strength is measured in dBm also on my Evo lte engineering screen rsrp/rsrq. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
  5. That's odd since I just verified the same reading in my Evdo engineering screen, on my Evo 4G LTE. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
  6. On Androids, and instead of going thru all of that, you could just load up Net Monitor and read your signal strength directly off of that. I currently on tower 394 at - 90(dBm). Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

  12. HTC already has there case coming up against Apple at the ITC.
  13. It has also been learned and confirmed by Sprint, that iPhone 5's hdvoice is incompatible with Sprint's hdvoice because iPhone 5 uses wcdma for it's hdvoice in which Sprint uses cdma 1x advanced. So no hdvoice in the U.S.A. For iPhone 5.

  17. It seems someone on Android Central has reported that they had LTE indicator light up on there phone in Hagerstown, Md today which is along the I81 corridor which I guess ShenTel covers from Harrisonburg, Va to Harrisburg, Pa.
  18. HTC already got the ball rolling on LTE patents going thru the ITC on Apple's use of LTE on the New iPad and the upcoming iPhone 5. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  19. Now you can put HTC into the mix now. They are in a battle with Apple over LTE right now in which a federal judge has said that HTC can use there recently acquired LTE patents against Apple in which Apple has tried to stop HTC in court from doing it. If HTC is successful in the case against Apple, then they would have to disable LTE on the new iPad and upcoming iPhone 5. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
