Or this could just be you guys over reacting as usual and making it something larger then it actually is. To many on here think something has to be done immediately. Just do it, consequences be damned later. Good thing you don't run a business, you all be broke. Nothing has to be immediately done or passed thru this group of people in here for approval. Heck you act like its the second coming of something.

Verizon hasn't completed there fiber buildout in NYC, as a matter of fact, the city sued Verizon for breach of contract. Until Verizon turned around and said OK. Til this day, Verizon is still building fiber in NYC at a snails pace

I guess the market likes it that Sprint isn't saying much.

Where the normal price for that plan is 5 lines for $180. So your getting 50% offJoin today, $90 for 5 lines
*Until 3/31/18, then we'll jack your rate to 190/month.
It just comes off as sleazy. I dont know what the heck sprint is thinking pulling this junk to acquire customers. You spend ALL this money/energy to acquire them and then risk them churning out in a year????
I hope Sprint continues to improve its network and restarts its marketing efforts AGAIN. Just sad to see.

And just think, up until last week. Verizon was kicking grandfathered unlimited plan users off the network if they didn't tow the line and switch over to a tiered data plan. Plus kept jacking up there prices. There is going to be a gotcha in there somewhere. Oh by the way, It isn't going to be a contract plan so guess what, terms can change at the drop of a hat. Knowing Verizon, I wouldn't put it past them.

Or be like me and stayed with the $70 unlimited plan with 3gb of tethering that doesn't have restrictions but gets prioritized when the network is congested which is a rarity.

The fireworks have already began on twitter and some current Verizon customers are pissed.

1. I'm not a sprint apologist
2. Open signal app sucks, it crashes like you wouldn't believe. It keeps people on band 25 for some reason on sprint instead of letting the phone switch bands like its suppose to for which I guess why the app crashes.
3. Every one has there problems, mine has been few and far between. I'm sitting here listening to people complain about the others here at Dulles, do I give a damn? No, we all choose what we want.
I get tired of people about we need to merge with T-Mobile. Need to consolidate , need to get rid of band 41, need to be like T-Mobile, guess what? If you are so unhappy, just leave. Stop complaining and ranting and just leave.

What I find funny is that people are comparing capex of the other networks to what is sprint doing now, but failed to realize that Sprints you heavy work with network ripping was already done. Now just adding capacity, the others are busy consolidating and upgrading equipment. So if you want to compare. You have to look further back on Sprint. The Capex argument is getting old to, just like the merger rumors that keep popping up.

Here is another example for which one you didn't think of. Directv which is now owned by AT&T, blankets the whole country but you didn't think about that one did you. Cable systems operate by County and city contracts, not by state. And Charter does not blanket the South East, Mid West, or South West. The biggest cable operator is still Comcast which covers more then Charter does

You speaking of RoadRunner which was split off from Time Warner, and I'm in the Herndon area where Cox dominates.

I live in Virginia and you will not see Charter here in the Commonwealth, it is mostly Comcast, Cox, Verizon Fios, maybe some AT&T here and there, but no Charter. So the question stands. Charter isn't all that big here.

Well I just saw this on Marcelo 's Twitter feed, Sprint is now 1/3rd owner into Tidal, probably see it come up on Sprint News later. Talking about something coming out of left field.

I'm not saying nothing is going to get done, but some in here have gone way overboard. Ask John Legere about the first pizza freebie that got cancelled 1 day after it was started. Reacting to something immediately is just going to fail down the road. The funny part is Verizon is in the third day of trending down on the market after this unlimited announcement. While Sprint had recovered and trending back up because unlike the magenta fellow, Marcelo didn't go reactionary and come up with finding half ass. Give it a little time. Patience has its merits especially in business. And what is Sprint after all, a business.
