  1. This has been my experience as well. LTE has been intermittent when I can get it. Sometimes it's on. Sometimes it's not. Go figure. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk HD
  2. You're not the only one. I have 9 months left on my contract. Me, my sister, and my mom were in the same car heading to St Augustine on I-95 this past Saturday. Me and my sis have sprint. My mom is on AT&T. My mom and sis tried to download the same app on their phones. Guess which one of them was actually able to do it? It wasn't my sister... sent from my mobile device
  3. I actually picked up a little LTE this morning at Atlantic and Kernan blvds. So, they're working on something. There is also spotty LTE on McCormick Road east and west of Monument. It's getting there, but very slowly.
  4. I've picked up some LTE on Atlantic Blvd around the Regency area. I switched to an iPhone so I can't map it on Sensorly. Hopefully, someone else will be able to.
  5. In Atlantic Beach, I watched my 3G signal drop and then connect to 4G. I don't think the handoff between the two is smooth at all.
  6. How is the building penetration? Has anyone ever got a LTE signal inside of a building?
  7. I have a technical question: According to SignalCheck Pro, when I'm at work, I am picking up a tower that is not one of the towers on the network vision sites map. Does that mean that it will not be upgraded to 4G? If so, will it be possible for me to pick up another tower that has been upgraded to 4G when it's deployed? Thanks.
  8. I just mapped some 4G I picked up downtown driving down State Street after coming off the Mathews bridge. I'm stoked!
  9. Can someone post a pick or reference one that shows what to look for on a tower that has LTE installed?
  10. Can you really be that far from a tower? Someone told me that a cell phone can't pick up a tower very good if it's more than 3 miles away. Is that not true?
  11. Has anyone noticed an issue with 3G/4G handoff? I stream music in the morning during my commute and I notice that whenever there is a need for the 3G signal to handoff to the 4G signal, my streaming is interrupted for about a minute or so. It's annoying! I would think the problem would be the other way around.
  12. LOL. I thought it was just my phone that was messing up the posts. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Probably. The tech said something about one of the towers around here "wasn't 100%." I don't know what that means though. I gather that whatever they are doing around here isn't 100% completed or repaired. At least, that's what I hope.
  14. Okay...my frustration is at an all-time high. I work downtown and I used to be able to stream music, but for the past few weeks, I have not been able to with a consistent connection. I have contacted Sprint 4 times about this, but to no avail. The first two times, there supposedly was some kind of outtage that was supposed to be fixed last Friday. I contacted them twice today and the first time, the network provisioning didn't go through and the 2nd time, the tech had me update the profile (my PRL wouldn't update). Pandora worked for 5 minutes. Then I switched to Amazon Cloud Player and it worked for 5 minutes than became unusable (every 10-20 seconds it was buffering) and it's driving me batty. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  15. Finally Atlantic Beach is getting some love. At Plaza and May port Road. Mapped it on Sensorly. I got 4G on May port Road from A1A to Atlantic Blvd. On Atlantic Blvd from Florida Ave to San Pablo was all 4G as well, but it returned to 4G after San Pablo going west.
  16. I picked that up as well going east on wonderwood. After i came over the bridge, no more 4G. I will try to map on sensorly this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
  17. This. I get speeds like that anytime after 10pm and before 8am. Between 8am and 7pm, the speeds are dang-near unusable.
  18. Is it me, or does it seem like this whole area's build out is moving at a snail's pace? And when was the last time you heard about a market going live via Sprint announcement? Sprint has announced sites that will have 4G, but none lately that have actually been announced as live.
  19. Today. Baymeadows Rd at Baymeadows Way: Old Baymeadows Rd at Southside Blvd: I had 4G coverage on Southside Blvd from Baymeadows until right before JTB. As soon as I passed Deerwood Park, it switched back to 3G. Now...if they can only work on Downtown...
  20. Yep. For a moment, I actually thought about going to AT&T. Their 4G speeds are pretty good. My mom has a galaxy s2 on AT&T and her 3G+ speeds are impressive.
  21. I was looking at my sprint bill this morning and I noticed that included on the bill was 2,699 kb of 4g data. I have a GN2 so no wimax. I'm trying to figure out when that happened because I haven't been out of town lately. I don't remember being in baymeadows. The only thing I can think of is maybe when I drive in to work over the mathews bridge, my phone hops onto the tower at the stadium. But that would be brief. Hmmm...
