  1. Oh well. The antennas are under a metal sheath at the top of the pole. If you look closely at the picture you might be able to see it.
  2. I live near a flagpole site that I fear may be a GMO (Not because it is a flagpole, but because it will not be serviced). It has fiber backhaul (Windstream) and it has new Alca-Lu RRUs. The odd part is that the site has small, thin (Thinner than normal Alca-Lu RRUs) grey boxes with 800 RRU stickers on them, legacy base station equipment, and that the site has not been visited in months. Thoughts? http://www.imgur.com/a/p88Jj
  3. My OG EVO has survived quite a bit of water penetration as well as extreme humidity, but I will note that the rear housing, display, and digitizer are all aftermarket parts.
  4. To answer part of the OP's question, yes 3G EV-DO (And 2G 1X) speeds should dramatically increase with NV if they were previously below 600kbps. Sprint is connecting faster backhaul to all of the NV equipment.
  5. Well, that is likely the case for Echo Forest Drive (backhaul provided by a local copper-line ISP), but the Strawberry Lane tower has fiber backhaul through "Dukenet" FTTT services. Still could be the reason though, like if they are still negotiating price or something.
  6. Two sites that I know of have what look like NV RRUs but are not "broadcasting" (for lack of a better word) LTE. One is at 8016 Strawberry Lane, Charlotte NC and the other is at 1759 Echo Forest Drive, Charlotte NC ("flagpole"). I have more photos of both sites, and can provide them if needed. Explanations welcome.
