  1. I've noticed since I get LTE pretty much everywhere I go now I haven't been following this board quite as closely so I'll bid you all farewell. Thanks again for all the help and information. Special thanks to Robert who is absolutely killing it with this site. You are the man
  2. Well considering Robert made the rules on what markets make the list I'd say it's completely true. The criteria for that list is not if they are 100% broadcasting LTE, just that they have NV complete. We're in an elite market guys. There are plenty of markets in this country that wish they had what we have. You know the old phrase "the grass is always greener"? Well we're on the green side of that pasture
  3. For all the complainers out there let me refer you to Robert's Deployment List post. Specifically the completed site part Markets complete with Network Vision Deployment (8): Ft. Wayne/South Bend - Complete August 2013 PR/VI - Complete August 2013 Western Pennsylvania - Compete September 2013 (LTE in future) Shentel - Complete November 2013 East Iowa - Complete November 2013 Dakotas - Complete December 2013 Rochester - Complete January 2014 Inland Northwest - Complete January 2014 Yes Rochester is in an elite group of cities to have all of their towers NV complete. There are only 7 other cities in the WHOLE COUNTRY that can say the same.
  4. "largely completed" does not mean 100% complete. Verbiage people. Look we have 100% NV upgraded towers and I'm guessing somewhere in the 25-30% range for LTE upgraded (we'll have to wait for Robert's next deployment update to confirm). As a percentage of the whole that's like 65% complete. Maybe in the next month that'll move up to 75-80%. Just from an english language point of view, that text is wholey truthful. Or maybe I'm a glass is half full kind of guy
  5. I'm in the Target plaza on Ridge and Holt and I'm getting LTE as well. It's spotty in the building I'm in, but I do get it at my desk. -110dBm
  6. Wow. I have no data connection today in Webster. -73dBm for signal strength, but no data or a very spordatic signal for maybe a second or 2.
  7. Something is up in Webster. My usually steady data and signal have been all over the map today. I'm roaming a bunch and the data just cuts out a ton.
  8. Thanks Robert! Very clear and informative. I'm a tech geek so this is all very interesting to me.
  9. First off, as always, great informative post. I'm curious about the statement above. Why would the legacy equipment not be turned off? What is the usual time frame when the new equipment is on, but the legacy equipment is still being used?
  10. Looks like Rochester had 4 LTE updates between this weekend and Monday. Looks like you found 1
  11. I haven't heard any Patriot towers advertisements on the radio lately. Makes me think either they hired people who are now working, but slow since they are new or Patriot lost their contract with Samsung to upgrade the towers around here. Either way I'm guessing it'll be slow going for a while
  12. Thanks for the update Robert! Keep the good news coming!
  13. Accroding to ryman the site is in Dansville. Still have some time to wait until Rochester proper or its suburbs get LTE. Side note: anyone notice all the Patriot Towers help wanted commercials on the radio lately? I'm wondering if the Rochester crew is understaffed and that's why we haven't seen any 3G updates in a while
  14. Yeah the text was "Fairport, we're building you an all-new network! See how this affects your sevice at http://sprint.us/www/2013/networkvision/index.php?key=rnr"
