  1. The other thing to keep in mind here is Band 25/1900 mhz LTE which is what we are tracking right now is only 1 part of the Sprint LTE puzzle. Most sites will also be getting 800 and 2600 upgrades over the coming year(s). This by default means sites will have much higher capacities than what we've been used to even without it being a high capacity site.
  2. Why would you expect Des Moines to be on that list? I'm not sure how many times it needs to be said that as a sponsor of this site you have access to fairly comprehensive maps that give a good overall picture of where Des Moines stands based on the best information we have. How do they hold funerals in the winter? Yes the ground is harder, inclement weather can cause delays on tower work, but work continued in markets all of last winter. It is quite a bit different this time when there is actually 4G equipment installed on the vast majority of the sites in Des Moines now. This isn't some false hope or a pipedream of getting Wimax.
  3. Define completed towers? There a bunch of sites in Des Moines that have visible progress. We have no way of knowing where things stand beyond that though. Other things like testing and integration need to be done before a site is activated. We have no way of identifying the timeline there. That said, odds are by the end of the year there will be significant progress.
  4. Oh we already know. Omaha's sensorly map is fubared from one or two rogue phones.
  5. See bmoses post to you above from earlier tonight. The Nexus has a nasty habit of reporting LTE data from a past connection. Post a screenshot of your LTE engineering screen (there is a short cut straight from signal check pro). Edit: In Pleasant Hill it is probable you actually have an LTE connection based on the new site, but an engineering screen would still be extremely useful.
  6. It is helpful. What you posted shows you were connected to the new site being discussed above by Dean St/Williams Ave.
  7. Assuming they aren't testing a site, and that this site is live now, I'd expect an acceptance report shortly. That would pinpoint it pretty well. Then well have you guys pull serving cells.
  8. That kind of points to the same site digiblur alludes to as well.
  9. As a sponsor of this site, you have access to the same information that we do...
  10. I wouldn't expect it any time soon. They only have a few sites in Omaha that mainly cover the interstate. They may be protection sites to sit on spectrum. It would require a huge outlay to provide competitive coverage here.
  11. We've identified a lot of progress in site equipment in Omaha and Lincoln over the past few weeks. Click the link in my signature for information on site locations (site sponsors only).
  12. Download LTE discovery if you don't already have it. I fully second digiblur's suggestion.
  13. If someone in Moline can get us the serving cells and or HEX Id's for this site for the East Iowa spreadsheet and map that would would be great. Sponsors have access to the exact site location that should make this fairly easy. If someone is interested, let me know if you have any questions.
  14. This isn't the thread to be talking about site locations in. As a sponsor you have access to this thread here where site locations can be discussed. The first post in that thread has a map of all of the sites in Nebraska and Iowa. You also have access to the East Iowa spreadsheet and map in the post here. The second link has information on sites that as we update it will confirm which tower someone is connected to (the answer to your question about where you are getting LTE from is already posted in the spreadsheet in the second link).
  15. How do you know they haven't been getting new sites online? I'd say the last month and a half overall was by far the most productive 90 day period the West Iowa/Nebraska market has seen.
  16. That address is within what I'd consider to be "standard" range for the existing Des Moines site.
  17. We have both identifiers thanks to bmoses and DsmIowaGuy for this site.
  18. Thanks! That is 100% confirmed to be from the existing site in Des Moines.
  19. Assuming you haven't had a 4G connection since then, do the following: Open the dialer then and dial ##DEBUG# Enter 777468 (Sprint) for the lock code Select LTE Engineering Post the 2 or 3 digit number listed next to serving cell.
  20. I'd call a device or devices expected out in November (roughly a month) "out around it."
  21. Not to derail the topic, but it would be highly beneficial if you reported these "dozens" of sites in the Nebraska/Iowa market thread in the sponsors section. Thanks.
  22. And just to make sure you are aware, that thread is the same thread as the map location linked to above. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/636-network-vision-site-map-nebraskaiowa-markets/
