  1. I have a request in with the City for a list of the SmartPole site locations, so it will be interesting to see if any of them would be useful to Sprint, or if they were solely placed with Verizon in mind.
  2. Sprint service on the Metro Red and Purple lines is coming in 2-3 months. Verizon service just launched. https://www.metro.net/news/simple_pr/cell-service-now-available-verizon-customers-metro/
  3. That's really odd. I think there's a site right across the street from that campus.
  4. I haven't been in the North terminals for a while, but T5 & T6 coverage and speed have been good for me. When I had my HTC M8 it would automatically connect to the Boingo Wi-Fi in the airport, but I don't think that's happened with my 6s. Maybe that would go a long way toward solving connectivity in T3. You're right, SoCal in general needs greater site density and B26. NYC for example or Atlanta offer a much better experience. That said, there is progress being made in this market. There have been a lot of 3G sites in the canyons that have been converted to LTE. Many of these sites aren't even sites listed on the NV map.
  5. The DAS worked well for me in the North, Center and South halls at the convention center today. Flew in and out today. Service was good at LAS airport as well. .
  6. Is there enough room to do: B41 + B41 + B41 (for 3 channel carrier aggregation) B41 , B41 (for 2 carriers) or in the future B41 + B25 (or whatever the case may be.)
  7. Although I think listening in general is a great idea, was a "listening tour" really necessary? Most consumers barely have any loyalty to what has basically become a commodity service. What consumers do have are memories of bad experiences of network performance, poor customer service or both. You don't need to talk to customers to figure that out. Instead, how about a "getting things done tour."
  8. The contract between Sprint and San Bernardino County allows for up to $450,000 in incentives if the County can complete rebanding by June 30, 2016. Other milestone dates with lower payments include August 15, 2016 and October 15, 2016. (Incentives are also broken up into "desert" and "non-desert".) 9. I installed 9.3.1 last night. Clear B41 seems to work again!
  10. I think you're famous now: http://www.macrumors.com/2016/03/31/sprint-users-ios-9-3-data-connection-issues/
  11. Now it's all starting to make sense. When Sprint replaces the Huawei equipment I hope they'll turn the site into a full Sprint site.
  12. This particular Clear site had been 40978 since LTE was first turned on. Would Sprint enable CA on this site with yet another "new" channel adjacent to 40254?
  13. My math could be wrong, but here's what I get for the center frequencies for those channels: 40254 = 2556.4 MHz 41176 = 2648.6 MHz And looking at the band plan in the link below it doesn't look like they're next to each other. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-360-whats-the-frequency-kenneth-interpreting-your-engineering-screen-part-three/ But hey, I'm more on the creative side, so maybe someone good with numbers can give us the real answer.
  14. Just came across a 3rd EARFCN for B41 in LA Metro: 40254. This happened to be from a Clear site. Add that to the existing 40978 & 41176.
  15. Going back to 9.2.1 has fixed the Clear B41 connectivity issue for me.
  16. I'm surprised there aren't more people complaining about LTE connectivity issues. I'm definitely open to the idea it could be a peculiarity of my device. It just seems odd that I'm able to replicate your findings 100%. Sprint Care told me to report it via Sprint Zone. Not being satisfied with that answer I asked them if they had experienced an uptick in 6s LTE connectivity issues and suggested if that was the case that they pass the info up the chain. The agent promised to do so.
  17. LOL. I am also experiencing a long pause of 2+ hours. I'm not sure they knew what to do with the information that I have 2 other iPhone 6s devices that are running 9.2 and the older carrier bundle that can connect with no problem.
  18. I'm on a chat with Sprint Care about this issue. Did they respond to your tweet?
  19. Thanks for the tips! I don't think this is isolated to just the 6s Plus. I've noticed problems with Clear B41 as well. My 6s sees the signal, but I'm not able to use data. I reported it via Sprint Zone.
  20. You must have more patience than I do with Field Test. That screen really makes me miss my HTC M8. Do you have any tricks to get the info to populate correctly for TAC and UARFCN? Half the time it seems random to me. Is there a separate display for PLMN?
  21. I updated and haven't noticed any abnormal B41 behavior on my 6s in the LA Market. I will pay more attention after having read your post. EDIT: I have experienced connection issues with Clear B41 sites.
  22. There are quite a few in Los Angeles. About every block on some of the busiest surface streets in the Valley.
  23. It might not meet the contemporary definition of small cell, but T-Mobile inherited a DAS system from MetroPCS. This article mentions them having 6,000 DAS nodes: http://www.rcrwireless.com/20121116/carriers/metropcs-decommission-10000-sites-part-t-mobile-usa-deal
  24. Do we know if this is traditional point to point backhaul or is it B41 backhaul?
