I got a Carrier Update the other day! Are these updates solely for Network purposes?

south of Livingston in between James rd and Barnett is where I'm located. They told me too turn of my lte cause the signal is so weak. Calls don't go thru until I hit i70. Must me an IOS thingVoice isn't bad at all anymore. Now that Clear b41 towers are live...it is hard to get my normal Sprint B41 bandwidth.

That area has been the absolutely worse for voice and data. Been that way since 08. Need the densification project too hurryQuestion... can anybody explain why I am not even pulling 2 mbps up or down In the Barnett Rd and Livingston Ave area on my HTC M9? I dread these Clearwire Towers. #Sofrustrating.

My route from Columbus to Decatur,Indy and back was uninterrupted this morning. Usually I lose service in the Russell's Point area and 2 other small towns. Hope this continues

So Sprint is giving a 30 day Satisfaction Guarantee on its Plus Network, for new customers. Personally for this area, I think they should wait til the densification project is completed. Maybe there's a Big Rollout about too happen

for us iPhone users..does this mean we have too wait for i7? I know my 6s has better antennas but I don't know if it supports the new new networkSprint B41 Third Carrier CAx3-ready confirmed in the wild. This should result in 50% more B41 performance per B41 site as it is implemented and much faster speeds for the latest Samsung S7 and S7 Edge smartphones.

So far I'm liking my 6s. I thought I would upgrade to take advantage of the densification aggregation of the Network. Come on Sprint..with your funky $@&&.

technology outdated itself everyday. GeeshIt's ok. I have moments like that where I think I see 6s and it's actually 6.

are those areas on the Coverage Map? Still have bad signal in my areaAs long as you are in a carrier aggregation enabled area you should be good to go.

With the construction going on 270 315 area, has anyone else experienced NO SERVICE in that area?

seems too slow web browsing on my end when wifi calling is onHow's everyone WIFI calling working out? Mine seems to generally be working better now days... one weird thing is that sometimes my ipad will start ringing several seconds before my iphone does.
-
i wonder if that has too do with internal components, which I thought wouldn't change so muchYep. My wife is the same way. No complaints about Sprint whatsoever since she got her new phone. The 6s definitely seems to get off 3g faster than her 6.

great point! We don't have to accept anything, merely because you say it. We have every right to inform the populace that excessive speed tests produces an unnecessary strain on the network. AJ said clearly running speedtests is a tool used by network enthusiasts to diagnose and track issues, as needed. No one is advocating taking that away.
You do what you want, but you have been educated. That's what this site is for, education. You can reject the information we provide, you have that right. But don't tell us to stop. We're not going to. And frankly, you're off base to tell us to do that at our own site.
AJ said you do what you want with your data. But people who use more than their share needlessly will only necessitate undesirable changes to unlimited sooner. Does that describe you? We don't know. Nor are we going to investigate you to find out. And frankly, we don't even care. But we did our part to explain what's coming for those who do. We won't be accepting much whining when it does come down, either.

waterloo? I'm near 70 and James. The only thing I've noticed is that the signal around the Walmart in Whitehall is great now@GMotif you live south of Waterloo right? Have you seen the fiber being installed by on your south?

Please read this discussion more carefully. I never put forth a "lecture on speed tests." They can be useful tools occasionally. But with the amounts of data that they can consume now, they should not be done frequently.
AJ
Gotcha. I hope we have more reports on more upgrades than this topic that I really know nothing about. [emoji108]

I didn't know speed test hogged data. I would think that streaming music all day is the same effect. But hey..you pay for it every month so forget those who don't use those services

lately that area has been having no service about 2am every day for the past week or soI was by the Cheesecake Factory. Even when I was getting on the freeway to 670I still busted out 35 up.

New tower spotted in Columbus...could it be Sprint?

There’s a tower that’s been built in Columbus in Livingston and courtright. The antennas are mounted and they are small. This area is probably the most dense on Sprints Network. I hope this is the beginning of my calls connecting sooner than 7 blocks away from my home. Can anyone confirm who owns this?
