    I know that this has kind of been posted but if you download quickshortcutmaker and create a shortcut to phone info in the list and make the shortcut, it works without having to input the code. No rooting and ROMing necessary. I've only tried it my S4T though so YMMV.

    To clarify this post for someone who may be confused, when he says old Samsung equipment he's talking about their dual mode ( WiMAX and LTE) equipment and not their newer 8T8R equipment that Sprint uses in Samsung's NV territory.

    Ah, so multiple APs only instead of 2.4/5 it would use whatever signals the carrier chooses, in this case (Sprint) some combination of 800, 1.9 and 2.5/6?

    Personally, I'd much rather have those resources be going to just about outstanding site upgrades (GMOs, No NV activity, no LTE, no B26, etc) than VoLTE. That being said, I would very much like to see them show a little more hustle on VoLTE.

    I thought the prevailing thought was that Verizon would sacrifice it's meager PCS holdings so that they could go after other bands with more gusto without worrying the FCC?

    No, because that's what the customers want. They only rub their nipples when they can do something we don't like.
