  1. You can wirelessly bridge Apple Airports (extreme and express) together as well. Very easy to setup with the software included. This is the setup I currently have and they work great. I stream 2 tv's with netflix over wifi, 2 smart phones and a laptop and never have problems. I have my PS3 plugged into the express (for a faster connection vs. wifi "g") and my stereo to airplay itunes from the laptop or fiancee's iphone.
  2. Robert...Is there anything new on the Cincinnati market?
  3. an update pushed out late last week to sprint iphone users, i think just iphone 5 users
  4. Did you do the carrier 13.1 update to your iphone?
  5. Have any of you been having slow data connections and sms (picture mail mostly) failed to send errors? My fiancee' has the ip5 and has been having these problems, along with a lot of other people. I wonder if this update is to fix this??
  6. I'm glad you confirmed this, as it doesn't make sense to not deploy all MHz technologies in all of the markets.
  7. There is this Black Friday ad floating around too... http://blackfriday.c...t/flyers/sprint
  8. Have you ever gone into the Field Test screens and see if it shows eHRPD or LTE? From what I have read, it might show up there
  9. According to Bollar, I think if you go into the Field Test screens using *3001#12345#* you might be able to see it there... All I can do is look and see http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2145-iphone-5-data-connectivty-issues/page__st__20
  10. Nice, lets see a screen shot if you can post one up. I'll check on my fiancee's iphone 5 later tonight and see what I connect to in Dayton
  11. I don't know if the process is the same, but for me to switch from a "public" plan to an everything plus referral plan, I had to wait until my contract expired, port my number to a pre-paid type service (anything but Virgin or Boost), then port my number back to Sprint to a new account for the Everything Plus plan. It was an absolute pain. I don't know if going the opposite direction will be as bad though. I was told by numerous people I talked to online, at telesales and at employee telesales that my number could not be ported from one Sprint account to a new Sprint account.
  12. Thanks for the welcomes... I'm soo happy this site exist because there is so much Sprint leaves people in the dark on. Yeah, I follow that thread and I've started using Sensorly on my old EVO for now tracking 3G areas. Hopefully they come out with a sensorly app for Iphone, because that will be my next device.
  13. Just wanted to say hey to everyone and how glad I am I found this site with so many knowledgable people with the same interest in Sprint and their NV project as I have. I believe Sprint will be the best provider in a few years (even before the SoftBank merger) for mobile telecommunications in the US with their thought and vision (no pund intended) on Network Vision. I have been totally let down since I bought my OG EVO 4G 2 years ago in hopes of getting 4G wimax service in Dayton, but it never arrived. I have faithfully stayed with Sprint for almost 10 years now and just recently renewed my contract. I can't wait for the day when these towers in the Cincinnati/Dayton region start getting turned on. So much, I finally decided to donate a little money with more to come to Robert and S4GRU.com in hopes of getting the inside track on all of the latest NV information.
