I called Sprint today. They said as long as I have 3Mbps, it's considered 4G LTE. Most cases I don't even get that. I must be in a black hole.

You're not wrong... that's for sure. However, there are many times me streaming I Heart Radio, I lose connection. So I wonder if the reliability claim is for just voice, or does it include data??

Sprint has been a total flop for me here in Glendale. It's been bad for so long then it got good! It didn't last for 6 months and started getting bad again. Right now, my work use to be a fast 4G LTE spot averaging 9Mbps. Now I can't get LTE at all. It's been that way for over 2 years now.

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm paying so little for my plan, I'd jump ship. 

I'm at 51st ave and Bell Rd. Major intersection. I'm getting 3.3Mbps UP and 2.1Mbps DOWN on LTE. Sad... really sad.  1% to Verizon my buttocks.

What about Arizona? I'm dying over here???!!

Well, I'm still sucking eggs here. I get "some" decent LTE service around 67th Ave & Cactus, but the service around my home is terrible.  59th Ave & 101. Ug..

My contract with Sprint is up on Feb 14.  I've been looking to move to Verizon because my service has gone to hell since the whole WiMax fiasco.  I'm on 3G more than 4G-LTE and I can't receive phone call in my house.  I'm near 59th Ave & Union Hills, so I'm not out of the city.  It's quite irritating.

I hope they get their crap together soon!

The only Arrowhead Lakes community I know about is 59th and 101. I'm on the south side of 101 and nothing is here, or it's not very strong. I currently have 3 bars of 3G. So does my wife's phone. Besides, there is a LTE tower at 101 and 75th ave. Lucky you.

OK. Maybe I'm looking at old reports. I just looked at the sprint coverage map. They have my area all lit up with 4G coverage. Still, I'm sitting at 1x right now.

My speed is directly related to my non-4G signal. I guess my towers have not been upgraded. That is why I'm shocked Sprint would announce this market. We have 9 LTE towers in Metro Phoenix. Like that is a lot!?! I'm not in the boonies. I'm the crossroads between Arrowhead Lakes, Glendale. Peoria, and Phoenix.

Seeing better improvement near Van Buren and 19th ave. Also at 59th ave & Peoria. This shot is from inside a steel/concrete structure, that normally struggles even get a cell signal.

I ended up calling 3 stores in my area.  I finally found one 6 miles away.  Shot down there before they closed and got me a SIM. 

Unfortunately, customer care is closed and I can't activate until tomorrow morning. 

Aw geez!  My Nexus 5 should be arriving today via UPS.  I just called Sprint and they said they were 2 months backordered on the SIM cards!  That's nuts!

Anyone have a Sprint SIM card lying around???

Looks like I finally have LTE near my house (59th Ave & 101). It's been a week and stable. Speeds are ok, but not the 20+mbps I was hoping for.

65th ave & W. Cactus Rd. My 4G lit up and with Crazy SPEED!!

I hate slick sales agent. .. lol
