  1. Be patient I know it's frustrating but the upgrades are coming.
  2. Does anyone know when the next update for Evo 4G LTE is due? Although I can connect to various LTE enable towers I can never use the signal. If I try a speed test the app times out..Frustrating to say the least!
  3. I was playing around with my EVO 4G LTE and I found the following in ##DATA# >EPST >View Mode >LTE Record. There I find the following options: LTE available fIle LTE clear file LTE scan Timer BSR Max Timer When I access the LTE Record it looks like a log example: 0. SID:xxxx NID:x BSID:xxxx The file has 15 separate entries. I have noticed the SID and the NID are the same in all 15 entries but the BSID # are all different. Are these settings to access LTE and if modified will it provide access to LTE?
  4. So they have blocked the tower near you?

    EVO LTE Heat

I think it has something to do with maintaining an LTE connection. I do know the one time I ran across an actively accessible LTE tower my connection was not stable. Unfortunately I was not in that area long enough to perform any substantial test.

I will have to pay attention to that and report my findings.

Do you think it could be the processors instead of the radios, they are fairly new correct?
  8. 003 for me. I was thinking about the GS3 but I figure that will have issues too. Bleeding edge tech always does. I am a bit concerned about the heat though.
  9. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I was in that area Friday morning early then went out of town. Deplorable data access on the network in Myrtle Beach. That's another story. I did test the LTE signal, I was at Southlake and although the phone showed full strength signal bars wise the best download speed I was able to obtain was 5.5Mbps down. I was not able to look at the actual signal strength. I will try again later this week.
