  1. Nobody gave a clear answer to my question, which is why I asked it. There were "maybe it was because of ..." or "it could have been because of ..." but there was never a, "This was because of ..." which left me with answers that could have been correct, but not definite ones.
  2. So I'm on an MVNO named UbiTelecom, and I own a Note 2. When I have my phone settings to EVDO only, it connects to 3g. When I set it to cdma/evdo/lte, it connects to LTE or eHRPD, but never passes any data. I wondered what was wrong with my phone, so I tried getting LTE to work on another phone, but I got the same result. I tried getting LTE once in NY before it was activated there, so I don't know if it's because of my towers or the MVNO, or the phone. I live in the Northern Jersey area, can anybody help me?
  3. I'm on an MVNO, in the northern Jersey area. I receive LTE signal, but it doesnt pass any data. What's wrong, is it my device or the tower? I have tried getting LTE to pass through other phones with the same MVNO, but it doesn't seem to work. I tried LTE in NY too. My MVNO is a korean one, called ubitelecom. It advertises LTE, so I don't know what's wrong here... (oh I have a note 2)
  4. Well I have the unlimited data plan, and it's connected with sprint. It says that they support LTE, and links to a Sprint LTE map, so I don't know what's the problem here since there isn't a separate plan with LTE or anything like that.
  5. I live in the northern Jersey area but I have also tried LTE in NY. Oh, if this helps, my cell provider is ubi telecom, which is a MVNO for sprint.
  6. But I have tested this with other phones, and it provides the same result... I get fine EvDo connection, but I don't get any LTE or eHARPD data. I don't think it's a problem with my phone. Unless a different carrier (such as one like Virgin Mobile) under Sprint changes things.
  7. Does anybody have an idea of why my LTE doesn't receive data? It only shows the signal bars (not the actual LTE symbol). It does this in both officially launched and non launched sites.
  8. I don't know, I really don't. I'm just curious to why I don't receive LTE data when I receive LTE data.
  9. I have a question about LTE in not officially launched areas. I get the LTE signal, but I never receive data from any of the towers. Is it because I don't pay for LTE, or is it because the site isn't ready yet? This has also happened to me in NY, but it's launched there so I don't know why I'm not getting LTE data or eHARPD data either...
  10. Does it matter if I am signed up with another carrier that uses sprint? I use ubitelecom / helio. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  11. Well I have a note 2,and when I put it into CDMA, it receives 3g and no sign of lte. If I put it into lte/CDMA, then it either receives eHARPD or LTE, but no actual data. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  12. Well, I have a picture in the northern Jersey thread (I don't have it right now). I don't know what specifics you want to know, but it's happened with another phone also. http://tapatalk.com/tapatalk_image.php?img=aHR0cDovL2ltZy50YXBhdGFsay5jb20vZC8xMy8xMi8wMy9vcmlnaW5hbC9nZXphN2VwZS5qcGc%3D Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  13. Hi, I didn't know where to post, since I didn't want to start a new thread. I received LTE signal (signalcheck told me) but I didn't get LTE. This happened both in Northern Jersey and New York, on separate days. Is there something wrong with my phone?
  14. Found lte, but no data unfortunately Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  15. I'm sorry if this was answered before, but what exactly is the iDEN network? Is it Wimax?
