They were not upgraded to sprint standard.

 

Some have upgraded backhaul and tops out at 40-60 Mbps and others have old wimax backhaul and tops out at 10-20 Mbps.

 

Sprints own 2.5 will easily reach 100/14.7.

And by sprints own are you referring to the 8t8r technology?

Lots of clear b41sites that have been turned off for a while. Once those goes back live they can announce it as spark.

Right now, the 4G coverage I am seeing seems to be a lot like these two images.

 

The Loomis coverage is didly squat, maybe because of the trees and the fact that the tower height doesn't reach above anything for the rest of the town. While the Rocklin one is on the edge of the hill and can cover nearly 10X the area.

No one with the EVO LTE is allowed to complain about coverage. It is the worst RF performance device for Sprint LTE ever. Please get another phone on EBay. You'll thank yourself.

An EVO 4G LTE for now. Only LTE 1900 but I would think 1Mile would be ok since apparently the Rocklin tower at my work is >1M away if it isn't coming from Sierra College Campus itself.

 

Thinking of picking up a LG G3 soon though.

 

On the sponsor map, Is 3G/800/4G mean Spark? or just 3G800. Trying to get up to speed reading the info.

What is the range on LTE? I am less then 1Mile away line of sight from a newly lit tower and I am still stuck with 3G.

No, you don't have any control of that unless you take special steps to go deep into settings and over-ride what's there already. Otherwise your phone will connect to LTE 800 when it needs to (assuming you have a Spark phone).

You may even find you already have LTE 800 activated around you!

 

 

 

None since none have been sold since late 2013 and it's useless to get one since LTE 800 and 2600 is being massed deployed on Sprint cell sites or 2600 already deployed on Clear sites.

How much people does sprint cover compared to T-Mobile? Overall in there networks?
