    HTC U11

Their MEID field is a floating-point number instead of a string.

    HTC U11

    It sure did.

    HTC U11

    Supports 3x CA, 256QAM and 4x4 MIMO on B41.

Would very much appreciate it if somebody could pull the UE EUTRA capability message with Network Signal Guru (root required) and post all the carrier aggregation band combinations.

Aside from the IMEI issue, the firmware is obviously also different. There is no U11 support from SunShine (yet?), so no easily accessible way to get S-Off and change CID / firmware.

But it is just a regular ol HTC U11 from HTC.com. Unlike Sprint's HTC 10, U11 has the same MID for both Sprint and US Unlocked.
  7. Not a fan of all these Spigen cases with huge cut-outs on the top for the IR blaster that was not to be. I've had Otterbox Defenders for my last 5 HTC phones, but they are not making one for the 10, so I have to live with a Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. It's pretty good, though you do have to pop out the built-in screen protector just like on the Defender and use your own. Waiting until the TGSP mess sorts itself out, so just have a Spigen Crystal film protector on there.
  8. I second the Snapseed recommendation.
  9. Thanks for the info. If Aukey has stamped plugs and stiff cables then I really wish Anker would start making Powerline Plus type-C cables. Their regular Powerline type-C cables have nice extruded plugs and the Powerline Plus microUSB cables have a pretty small bend radius, around 3/4" or so.
  10. The older Aukey cables were out of spec (no 56kOhm pull-up resistor), but the one you got is probably fine, although it's not the one that is on his recommended list. I'm just hoping that Anker comes out with Powerline Plus USB type-C cables at some point, as those were by far the best micro-USB cables. Is the type-C plug on your Aukey cable stamped or extruded? (As in does it have a seam on the side?)
  11. Supposedly a kernel issue that is either fixed or at least mitigated in the US unlocked 1.53 OTA, so just have to wait until Sprint releases it and see it it gets better. Fair enough, it would be great if it happens, but again, I'm not holding my breath given HTC's financial situation, etc.
  12. I'll believe it when it's actually implemented in a mass-produced handset. Rezence has been around since 2013. Snapdragon 810 and 820 supported WiPower. Yet so far the only Rezence-certified handset is a Qualcomm demo phone. I highly doubt there will be a version of HTC 10 with wireless charging.
  13. Wireless charging means no aluminum body, doubt HTC would give that up.
  14. Otterbox isn't planning to release any cases for the 10.
  15. Yeah, Team Venom are great, had their M7 ROM at some point, but went a different way for my M8. However, the issue of carrier-specific development being dicey will always remain. Even the ROMs that are supposedly compatible with all 4 major US carriers often have some Sprint-specific bugs. Custom kernels often aren't ported to Sprint/Verizon at all (sigh, flar). Now that Samsung has completely locked down their bootloaders for S7/S7E, a non-Sprint HTC or a Nexus are really the only options for flashaholics.
