Positioning yourself to match pricing / practices of the companies that would be looking to buy you out.. makes a lot of sense. Might already be a deal in the works with VZ or ATT....

In the past month or so I went from constantly dropping calls dozens per day to consistent LTE and smooth handoffs on Route 4 more or less from Englewood & Fort Lee all the way down to Route 208 and up thru to Hawthorne/Wyckoff. Data speeds ranging from 10mbps to 20mpbs with pings under 100. EDIT: LTE also shows up at Starbucks on Route 17 South & all over the place in Paterson, Little Falls, Parsippany & even a little in Wayne.

Tons of upgrades in Northern NJ in the past 6 months and my SERVICE HAS BEEN TERRIBLE! Dropping calls left and right, daily dropped calls way into the double digits. Recently things have improved and I'm not dropping many calls at all. Added bonus usable data (LTE with decent speeds) is available in many of the areas where I dropped the most calls just a few weeks ago.

The Best Buy next to Garden State Plaza in Paramus has a Sprint G2 on display! Seemed to be snappier than the other models on display. I guess Sprint = LESS bloatware.

Anyone else get any intel like this?

That's great to hear! Now I can rest easy LG G2 sooner, QuickWindow Case & the $300 (4x$75) in credits I've managed to get out of them this year for poor service make me feel alright about not getting the BEST deal. Thanks Ben

I'm with you on reckless and distracted drivers, most dangerous person on the road is in the right lane driving slowly reading a book, texting and putting on makeup. That being said not all of us operate that way I depend too much on my license to act a fool in that manner. I do hope that woman gets arrested before she hurts someone.

Unfortunate but understood, I haven't seen much talk about VoLTE on Sprint but the VoIP option is looking better and better.

Some communities have forum mods that are less open to free discussion clearly S4GU is a step above. I still don't see how the occasional turn by turn early notification is so distracting that its a problem. Also my bigger concern is live traffic/accident reports and reroutes in less known areas. Its not as if EVERY MOMENT I drive I'm on a call and being given turn by turn directions its just the fact that I CANNOT get those live UPDATES that upsets me about this phone. I've read the in depth FCC analysis and I cant help but wonder if things will ever change? The first Tri-Bands have limitations. Is the complexity of Sprints network really never going to allow for SVLTE?

Hey at least you didn't delete a dissenting opinion. Handsfree is law and live traffic and navigation become necessary when traversing a territory that spans 4 counties and the entirety of Northern NJ. I don't have time to memorize every street in every town in Northern NJ.

SO POIGNANT! I work out of my car... driving is my focus but HANDSFREE calls that still allow for real-time VERBAL alerts regarding traffic conditions, police traps, etc could be helpful. Is it impossible to hold a conversation and still drive?! I better reevaluate my lifestyle.

Getting mad SICK of not being able to REPORT or get REPORTs on Waze while on the phone.... that being said I guess since theres hardly consistent LTE anywhere in New Jersey it doesnt really matter
