I received a on screen notification but the version is still 4.1.1. Far as I know it just changed the baseband version

I checked mine all day yesterday once I heard about it, gave up, and saw the update notification early this morning. I read it could take a few days to reach your phone

It's a Lil bit of everything. The phone isn't too big like I thought it would be, I have better connection in places where my s3 had minor to no connection, and the battery life really does it for me. I work a 12 hour shift and with heavy usage, I can go all day without a charge. it's basically a supersized s3 with a pen, with extra power (quad core), pentile-less screen. The only negative for me is the lack of svdo but I never used it that much. It was just nice to have.

I traded my s3 in for it and I can honestly say I do not miss it one bit.

I think it might be only for that browser window you have up, so exit that one and start a new one. Thats what I just did.

That would actually be the only reason I would root at this point..surprising to say but im pretty content with the touchwiz skin. I know ivwill root once im bored though.

One thing I've noticed is that even though you can buy a larger sd card, there won't be a option to move to sd. The option would be root but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Im in Memphis, the lte is in development here and the note picked up lte I would say a mile earlier than my s3.

I'm debating and I really don't know the reason why, but I'm gonna have a even trade with the s3 and s2. I have always been interested in the note and note 2 is pretty much a super sized s3. Stopping by my local store tomorrow to pick it up

Lol yea, im kinda kicking myself because i have the asus infinity. The Asus might be a christmas present to my lady if this turns out to be a good machine.

So far I haven't seen my phone connect to lte, but I do have sensory. I'll use it more often hopefully it will map lte for us
