    you hear anything back yet?

yes, essential and sprint are working on the issue in the houston market, there is an issue with  the phone connecting to clearwire band 41, at least they know so they can fix it.

  3. At $5 dollars a month, I am considering swapping out my HTC 10 and the wifes A9. Is the radios issue widespread? has it been fixed?
No, and dont think it will get fixed soon, Sprint keeps denying there is an issue.
Im going to the store to return it

  4. I'm having the same problem another user mention where there is no upload when connected to Clear B41 sites.
I tried to report it again to Sprint i got the same answer no reports and the one i thought made the report ticket they no have record of it.

I got asked to go to a job site at work so I wont be in Manhattan tomorrow. I'll be out east on Long Island so at least I get to update my Long Island site map.
You got the phone looks like this weekend sprint will offer a free 360 camera as well ab51f1a77a11d67276478330bac3f45b.jpg

  6. Yes, it really is (maddening to say the least), at least with 1x and EVDO and i am not sure how they can fix it.  i believe its new hardware from qualcomm so no doubt it needs further tweaking but can it be done at this point with these out in the field?
given how quiet they are about it on reddit versus the other problems that they publicly discuss and later fix, maybe the writing is on the wall.
We jump ship to early the 23th the essential will come with a free 360 camera c23b4bad37f02a4c0a647751e38597e0.jpg

Somebody at xda found a temporary fix, download onavo's vpn app and fixes the issue, so that means is a software issue 28aaf8aae1f12748c2be2fc905989bfd.jpg422c6a4e94c60ff303e7959094b60bac.jpg

  8. I heard people complaining about it's weak TMobile radio, and one person on our essential thread, this might be a symptom of it's general radio performance. Hopefully not.  Are you having this issue closer to that particular site? I see your hovering around -110dBm
I have checked outside too, different clearwire towers all are the same.
I have tried to explain it to sprint's techs and nothing so far, they keep telling me everything is fine no reports and im not supposed to connect to clear towers.

  9. I hope this isn't a real thing. I get mine today and I connect mostly to Clear B41 sites in Manhattan and along the LIRR.

On a side note I hit 120 Mbps on a MM light post site with only 2xCA, Whats the theoretical maximum speeds now with Config 2? Unfortunately the upload struggled till the end and only maxed at 3 Mbps at the very end.
Im trying to find if is only some devices are affected. Let me know when you get it

  10. When you say does not work, what exactly do you mean? One of my buddies picked one up and has not complained about having any connectivity issues.
Yeah when im connected to a clearwire tower i have 0 upload speed. There is other people with the same issue. Im attaching screenshots of both towers to have an idea cc3ac22bf796362e5fab8f3f4e7ab0e9.jpg32040107b46160e257e3222451bd97bc.jpg7a5e5f1daf0eb01bd67ef7ae55fcae7d.jpge4fc8625f56b1a9af0d90d38a93ba03d.jpg

I ordered the phone on a Saturday, used one of my current lines which was upgrade eligible. Once I received the shipment notification I called into Sprint and asked if I could pay off the device. The rep was very helpful and processed my payment on the spot. Afterwards I saw that online my upgrade eligiblity was reset to Friday's standings :)

Cost: $35+tax for downpayment and overnight shipment, $157.08 to terminate lease which included the $30 to buy the phone.

Not bad at all for a good looking phone I can keep for OS testing and random usage.

Do you have any issues with clearwire towers??

I did it over chat  i paid the 35+ tax to get the phone and  the rep cancel my lease and said  balance was 90 for the remaining lease agreement and 30 for the buy out option 120+  total paid $126.86

Have you tried canceling the lease, that's how the rep did it on chat and all the lease and buy out option total 120 plus taxes

My one worry here is that they won't sell enough phones, and the PH-1 will be a one-hit wonder. With the insane Flex Lease promos that started today that problem shouldn't exist in theory, but we'll see, I guess.

Also, I may have to take back what I said about RF perf. Either the phone doesn't play nice with ex-CLWR B41 or there's something else rotten afoot, based on the poor performance I had last night in an area that's had B41 for quite awhile. Felt like the phone either couldn't muster the transmit power to keep a reliable connection or it was being way too aggressive about jumping on B41 over B25. Not sure which. Either way, I'll continue reporting RF findings. Guess my v2 Moto X is gonna get some use again :)

Yes i have the same experience i get very good download speeds but upload is cero, cant use  apps or websites that requires you to sign in.

  15. I did a road trip to wisconsin great service google maps and streaming music everything worked, my brothers on t mobile not so lucky got lost because no signal, and really bad service, sprint is getting better a couple years back i almost cancel my service im glad i didn't

  16. Am I the only one having certain issues with the phone getting stuck on B26 on occasion. Seems like I'm dropping to B26 at random locations, which didn't occur before.

Also, seems to take much longer to switch to B25/41 from B26 idle or not.

Could just be my Nexus 6P, but this didn't occur before the second carrier came online.

Yeah i have the same issue, i have a clear site one block away before never switched to sprint site and now keeps reconnecting to band 25 and 26 all day, i guess they still testing band 41(2) because it never happen before
