  1. Glad to see the LTE is continuing to grow in the Spartanburg area, at my house I'm still getting good LTE and now on the drive to work today I had LTE for 70% of the ride over, which is a vast improvement from yesterday as I had it for about 25% of the ride. Keep it coming! Also got a bit of LTE the other day near Westgate Mall, got 22mbps download.
  2. Well this sucks. At my work I'm getting LTE outside but when I go to my desk inside, where I use my phone the most, I'm back down to crummy 3G. Talk about bitter sweet
  3. I had a brief moment of LTE near Arcadia yesterday but the tower still isn't listed as active so I'm not sure what I was connecting to. When I say brief I mean I saw it for 2 seconds then it was gone
  4. I'm closer to Wellford/Lyman, it's the tower near Gibbs Rd I think.
  5. Well I've got LTE at my house in Inman now! Best I got was 15mbps download and 6.7mbps upload. Pretty happy right now
  6. Ah, I must have missed those. Thanks for the update Robert. Where in the upstate are they located?
  7. It's been pretty quiet this past week, not really seeing any new activity in the upstate area. I was by the tower between Duncan and Greer again during the weekend and I still can't connect to any LTE until I hit Greer. I think the tower listed near Pine Street isn't actually active because I still don't get any coverage from it. Greer itself has been getting better though. I'm still just waiting for those 13 towers in the Spartanburg area near me to turn on. Heck I'd settle for just the one closest to my work for now haha.
  8. Yeah in Greer I had it for just a second then it was gone. Also the tower where I've been connecting to every morning off 29 from Lyman towards Spartanburg is seeming to have an issue as I don't connect to it even after I pass it now, I use to get good range with it going for a couple miles, now it's maybe a mile or so, I assume they're just working on it some more. I'm just anxiously waiting for the tower a mile from where I work to turn on because the 3G over here is dreadful.
  9. It's like we're in a stand still now here in the upstate. We were on fire getting LTE turned on left and right for a while but now I really haven't seen anything new light up in a while. I'm also still shocked that no towers within Spartanburg have been lit. Hoping to see them come on very soon.
  10. Hey does anyone know if the tower off exit 41 on I-26 near Enoree will be able to reach the exit before it in Cross Anchor? My buddy lives over there and the coverage is absolutely abysmal and the call quality is non-existent. I was over there the other day and tested the tower and it's working good but it hasn't reached to his house yet. Just curious if it will be able to in the future.
  11. Got this in Berea this morning where I was working, I was at the Greenville Tech fields. Pretty consistent all day, 3-4 bars throughout, got 5 at one point.
  12. Got the first one at Exit 28 off I26, the signal fluctuated between LTE and 3G. The other one is from the tower off Exit 41 of I26 near Enoree.
  13. Hey does anyone know if the tower is Berea near White Horse Rd is working? I'm going to be working about 1 mile from there on Saturday and was wondering if I'll be getting any LTE coverage.
  14. Do you know if anyone has been able to connect to the tower on 29 between Greer and Duncan? I was over there the other day and I couldn't get any LTE then all of sudden I got it for a split second then it was gone. I know this was one of the first towers to turn on here in the upstate but I haven't had much luck with it. I've been connecting to the one on 29 near Wellford every morning.
  15. I got this at my buddy's house near Business 85 and I-85 on Bryant Rd in Spartanburg. I'm getting him to switch to Sprint because of this haha
  16. LTE is starting to light up here in the upstate in a bunch of places in the past week, I really hope this momentum continues throughout the month so we can officially be listed as having LTE
  17. Just got this at work. I'm really hoping this is a good sign that the LTE is very close to be turning on because I can't even check my email right now.
  18. I got these on my way to work this morning coming from 29 towards Spartanburg. Coverage started just before exit 66 on I-85 and ended just before passing Fairforest Clevedale Rd.
  19. I got LTE on East Main Street on 290 in Duncan where I85 is, not really sure which tower I was on though, never got to get a speedtest done before the signal was gone because I just got on I85 to head home but I did have 4 bars. I also passed the tower near exit 66 on I85 that's recently been listed as 4G on the way home but no sign of LTE connectivity though.
  20. My buddy is working in Gaffney right now and he just texted me he's getting LTE! He sent me this screenshot from his EVO 4GLTE. The rollout continues!!! https://www.dropbox.com/s/7cx1bn5hfptudwf/Photo%20Aug%2015%2C%207%2053%2010%20PM.png
  21. Seeing a few more yellow marks on the map now, looks like a tower in Roebuck and Boiling Springs area. Has anyone been able to test any of these new sites? I find it hilarious that LTE is turning on in all the places that surround where I am in Spartanburg but not actually in Spartanburg haha. It's a good sign though, hoping to see some LTE out here really soon.
  22. I hope to upgrade as well Depends on preference, I like android but I'm suited better for Apple, I'm just glad we've got choice haha
  23. My family and I are getting incredibly upset with Sprint, we're getting horrible service with full bars, I've had 8 dropped calls this week and I'm hardly on the phone at all, my brother has had about 20, he's on the phone a lot, my sister in law has had 4 and my buddy has had 13. Data speeds are getting slower here in Spartanburg as I'm back to getting .02mbps at work and I did a speedtest with full bars and got .37mbps. We've called Sprint a bunch in the past week and all we keep hearing is the same thing we've heard before. Now hearing that they're moving the completion date to of NV to mid 2014 isn't helping either. We've been debating switching to T-Mobile as they're network out here has gotten pretty impressive, I want to stay with Sprint as they're going to get much better here but I can't deny I'm getting incredibly impatient as every other carrier has LTE out here except Sprint. My buddy, who is the head of the account has stated we'll be switching if they don't get their LTE out here by the time the next iPhone is announced, which appears to be September 10. I'm hoping Sprint ups its rollout speed out here in the next few weeks
  24. I haven't seen really anything new in the upstate or any of SC for that matter other than Myrtle Beach. I was hoping the LTE rollout of the upstate would take off really fast after we had the three towers turn on a few weeks back but no such luck. I did just read that Sprint has moved it's completion date of NV from the end of 2013 to mid 2014 now though, not really thrilled to hear that news.
