  1. 4G just popped up at my house, first time ever! Sadly 1.2 mbps down and 1.5 up. I'm sure it will improve.
  2. I've seen more 4G recently in the 37931 area. I didn't have my charger on me so I only mapped one area (I think it only got a spot!) on Ball Camp Pike! However it wasn't there last week!
  3. Went to UTK and ran some speed tests: However, outside of UT the 4G drops to a slower 1.3 mb - 2.5 mbps.
  4. Yes... yes it did. There were a few other speed tests, but for the most part, from 7:58 to 8:22 I dropped 17%. However, I have complained about my phone's battery before, and many people told me it might be defective.
  5. Took a trip to Turkey Creek and did get 4G!! Here are the speed tests: The High: The Average: The Medium: The Low: As you can see, the speeds do range a bit. The average stayed around 4-6 Mbps, followed by the lows which were 3.0-3.5 Mbps. The high speeds stayed around 15-18 Mbps, followed by the mediums which stayed around 7-11 Mbps. Also, the bars shown in the pictures might not be the bars at the time of taking the speed tests. I did have full bars and got around 2.3 mbps once, I didn't grab a picture at the time.
  6. Interesting, I live right next to Turkey Creek and haven't seen it at all. Maybe I'll drive around and see if I can pick it up. You didn't map it by sensorly by any chance?
  7. At least something is going on, I have yet to seen any activity in western Knoxville, still waiting.
  8. I haven't seen any work going on here at Pellissippi and Lovell Road, hopefully they will start soon.
  9. I've always been checking, I just have been busy with college and all. But I do come back every week or so.
  10. Knoxville! Finally! Now only if it could deploy around Pellissippi State!
  11. I'm guessing we aren't going to see LTE here before 2013, not that I thought I would but hey! Oh well, I just hope it gets here before the next semester starts (hope!) Maybe Christmas miracle?
  12. My friend just got the airave and went from 20kbps to 1.5/2 mbps. Not sure if it works in all locations but if you want better speed you might just want to look into it.
  13. Oh 4G, where art thou?

  14. Not sure, isn't roaming the triangle? You might be right. I switch from the Evo 3D/Galaxy S 3 and my Galaxy Nexus too much haha.
  15. I use open signal and use the widget on my homescreen to see what it is on. The galaxy nexus hides 2G from you but it shows R at rxtt. And don't kid yourself, in Harrisburg I did get a 4g lte speed test at 700kbps down...
  16. When you click them you should get a full screen view. If they are still blurry let me know and I'll reupload them.
  17. Just got back from Harrisburg, PA. I got some speed tests for you guys:
  18. Sensorly is spot on, getting lte on i-81 all over west Virginia, Maryland, and parts of Virginia and Pennsylvania. The speeds are weird, I get 30 mbps down and then 3 mbps, I have pics if you guys want I'll upload when I get home.
  19. Us cellular places their locations actually on the tower. Literally we have a us cellular store built around a cellular tower. Right on top of the store.
  20. I am pretty sure the iPhone has a tethering feature, if you are planning on using an unauthorized tethering application because of the jailbreak (like I think you are) then I would not suggest it. People that do this are the ones who end up making us lose Unlimited Data or they get caught and lose their data plans. If by any chance the iPhone doesn't have a tether application (I don't own an iPhone) then this would be the ideal solution. You have an iPhone 5 on Sprint? The iPhone 5 on Sprint has LTE. Why not just reactivate your Evo 4G, tether all you need and then reactivate your iPhone 5 every couple of weeks to see if it has LTE (I myself am not 100% certain if it will show LTE even if it is unactivated.) Wait until you receive an LTE signal then buy an Android Smartphone.
  21. Well, would you look at this. After resetting my profile and prl again, restarting the phone, removing the battery, it finally switched on over to eHRPD:14. Hooray!! Thanks guys! I know this has no impact on speed but still seeing the same 81kbps =(
  22. What about near the bojangles. Have you seen it there? Currently I'm using a Galaxy Nexus on PRL 25009 and just seeing CDMA - EvDo rev. A:6. I also see it at Pellissippi hwy/college
