  1. Does this include Marquette Michigan ? Also pls explain extended LTE ? This is by US Cell correct ? Is it broadcasting Sprints spectrum or US cell ? And is it treated as native coverage and not going agh st data though I’m in unlimited Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I have to admit, it’s somewhat encouraging network wise for 2018. I’m not overly excited becuase we all know Sprints execution is laughable but if they can expand the network plus continue to densify and add all the bands on all the existing and new towers then they should be back in business. They should have done this back in 2014 but at least it’s getting done. My question is how much expansion are they doing. He mentioned neighborhood expansion just outside coverage areas as well as location destination spots that typically sprint doesn’t provide service to that would get new coverage. My guess is it would be decent expansion when it’s all said and done but nothing overly dramatic. Also, I would love B26 and small cells to takeover SoCal all 2018 but I know I’m dreaming. 3. I’m hearing B26 should be live in parts of LA any day now. Keep us updated. SoCal needs it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Care to shed some light on the areas you know of that’s not shown on the map ? I would love to know so I can get an idea of what to expect moving forward Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Anything new to report for B26 in SoCal ?????? I’m hearing it’s coming very soon as permits are being filed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Well root metrics still shows Sprint ahead of T-Mobile in network reliability and JD power has them 2nd place in 5 of 6 regions across the US behind Verizon. That’s why I said it depends which 3rd party you choose to believe. That being said, what type of network investment do you see from sprint next year ? Do you think it’s a combination of densification plus expansion to new areas ? I heard the CEO say “new cell sites for new coverage” in his most recent interview. Just gets me excited hoping they’ll actually hit some kind of expansion and not just rely on extended LTE Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I get it, you’re a Tmobile fan/Sprint hater. Congrats Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’m just going by what multiple 3rd party studies show. ??‍♂️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Technically Sprint has surpassed Tmobile in network quality just not actual coverage. But I’m hearing it’s also some LTE expansion in this. As both the CEO and COO have stated “cell sites in new areas” in some interviews. Don’t get me wrong extended LTE is cool. But it’s still roaming at the end of the day. I would rather them fill those extended LTE areas with native LTE. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. What is everyone’s thoughts about the CEO mentioning an accelerated traditional rollout for all of next year ? What do you guys think it means ? Just focus on densification in cities or do you think it’s some actual LTE expansion into new areas to compete with Verizon and AT&T? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Anything new to report for Southern California ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’m really curious to know just how much of Sprints upcoming network investment will equate to actual expansion. Marcelo mentioned he would like to expand. But my takeover is Sprints adding towers insides it’s coverage area...though good but not good enough. They have the right spectrum assests to really dig deep in rural America. I just don’t fully understand why they aren’t fully utilizing the assets. I’m hoping Sprint finally expands in rural America. CCA for roaming LTE is still roaming. All 3 carriers have native LTE in rural areas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Crossing my fingers then....b26 should help close the gaps here in SoCal. Here’s to hoping some miracle happens at the start of the new year [emoji482][emoji481] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So some sites may not need permits to be deployed and those sites could come on line faster ?? Am I understanding that ? Is it entirely possible to roll it before Mexico clears it or is it a process of clearance then it can be rolled out to non permitted sites ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So sprint applied for permits for SoCal ? How long ago was this ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I’m gonna take an educated guess and say we’re looking at summer 2018. Earliest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. So basically I’m not excited. Jesus Sprint Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Oh ok nice. So does this mean the rebaning has been complete and 800mhz is ready to be rolled out ? When would it start ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I have no idea what that means. Can you break that down for us ? Also do you have a source ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I hope so. The tower spacing in SoCal s laughable at best. Everytime I’m at Disneyland I debate if I should even bring my phone in with me as it’s virtually unusable while every carrier has strong and usable signal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Gotcha. This is just terrible for Sprint. Any idea of small cells for Orange County, riverside county and IE ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I gotcha. And you don’t know where exactly the sites are going to be ? I was hoping they would at least blanket Marquette MI since my girlfriend goes up there to see her friends sometimes and gets extended 3G on her phone while in town. I’m hopping they at least coverage Marquette Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Gotcha. Yes I seen the new expansion map. Do you think Marquette will get covered with LTE at least ? Since it’s not widespread. My assumption is it will be spotty at best Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Completely wrong thread or market but it looks like sprint plans to bring LTE to the upper peninsula aka Marquette MI. Can anyone confirms this ? I see some marginal activity in the Sensorly app Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
