  1. I don't get around too much because I don't have a car, but I will map where I go best that I can
  2. That is totally awesome, I can't wait for that kind of speed here. You should get your buddy to download sensorly and do some mapping
  3. I'm not 100% sure that NV equipment is the only thing that leads to the super low pings. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that upgraded backhaul also has an effect, albeit not quite as drastic. I wish I could find the post where I first read about NV and pings, but ah well. At least we can deduce that pings around the market are definitely going down, which would therefore mean work is definitely being done. I just can't wait for the mass acceptance of all the sites! 4. And also, this is pretty awesome! I'm stoked to see some progress here, I hope we get some real momentum going with LTE acceptances soon. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4
  5. I am pretty sure that some work is being done around me, I am in the Honeoye Falls area south of the city, and today I scored my first ever speedtest ping under 100ms on 3g. Typically, I would get in the 110-140 range. The speed still isn't very stellar, but I remember reading that one of the telltale signs of NV equipment is sub-100ms pings, so I'm pretty excited. 6. Robert made a post in the New York Markets thread that I also follow. For whatever reason, it isn't on the map yet, but it's exciting news anyways
  7. I'm just posting the news here, first LTE site accepted in the Rochester market! It is in Dansville, time to get excited everyone! :-D Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4
  8. I am so jealous... Waiting at the Rochester train station now trying to stream YouTube.... Lol. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4
  9. Exciting! I see a few sites have been upgraded over towards the Victor area, getting closer to me. I was just over in Eastview yesterday getting my hair cut and didn't spot anything on the way, but not sure I was near those towers anyways. Anyone have any new speculation on when we will see some LTE light up instead of just 3G upgrades? Anyways, I'm not going to get greedy, any progress is good progress at this point. 10. I just took a look at the map today and nearly crapped my pants looks like Samsung has arrived in the Rochester market finally, we've got a bit of work done! I'm so excited, can't wait to see some work around me
  11. On the bright side, at least I didn't break any rules or I probably would have been told *chirp chirp chirp*!!! Sorry Robert.... I can't help myself....... TOO anxious Ryan
  12. If the work has started already, is there a reason no sites have been lit up on the map in the sponsors section? I'm assuming this post doesn't violate the "not sharing any sponsor-only info" rule since I'm only talking about the lack thereof... If I'm wrong, I apologize and I'll take this down. Ryan
  13. I can't wait for the work to get underway in the Rochester market. Do you know where the GMO sites are likely to go out of curiosity? Do they typically start work in downtown areas first or just do GMO sites based on where they think the network performance is most "starved"? The reason I'm curious is I live in the Mendon area south of Rochester and am dying to know where they will start the rollout. Think of me like a five year old that's had too many sugar sticks in the past hour.... ha..... I'm practically bouncing up and down waiting for NV to start here and I'm hoping and praying that the spots I visit and have to rely on the Sprint network the most will get work done first... even if it is only GMO work Ryan (waiting as patiently as possible )
