  1. I know that my signal at my house for Sprint LTE isn’t the strongest, but it’s decent. Can use data without WiFi. So far the worst dead spot for VoLTE is my bathroom. I’m using WiFi calling in my house. I’ll have to see if I’ll drop calls from WiFi calling to VoLTE later when I get off work. That’s what I thought.
  2. Nope. No call drops on VoLTE for the calls I have made. I have had more CDMA call drops with the XS Max, but that was expected with the Intel Modem.
  3. VoLTE is available in the Las Vegas Market, and I was able to make and receive calls on it. However, in weaker signal areas it doesn't sound good. No VoLTE in T-Mobile LTE areas though. I wonder if using a Static IP on my Sprint account would fix that. Anyone have any idea if that might help?
  4. Yep. Got the new battery on both of her 6S' earlier this year. The one phone is shot.
  5. The problem you have is software implementation on the network side is different than device. Too many different factors to consider. Maybe Sprint feels that all iPhone's pre-2017 wouldn't benefit from VoLTE due to antennas, or maybe too much of a resource drag on the network side. Unfortunately Sprint hasn't given any reasons publicly why they aren't allowing the 7/Plus and the 6S/Plus. They are still very capable devices that have a decent lifespan left for them. As for my friends 6S though. There is seriously something wrong with it. I'm probably moving her to my iPhone X this weekend. Her phone shut down yesterday mid day with 10% left on the battery. It's used as a business device so we have to keep it working properly.
  6. We actually did make a separate thread for the iPhone XR. See here: iPhone XR Thread
  7. IMS status is located in the NAS sub-section of LTE section on the XS Max, and presumably the XS & XR.
  8. Updating to iOS 12.1. I might also add a static IP to my account and see how things go when I get to Vegas this afternoon.
  9. https://imgur.com/gallery/GIuJl1i well, I now know that IMS voice is supported in Pahrump on the network side of things. Hopefully soon.
  10. On my iPhone XS Max, Bands 2 & 4 LTE shows up as Sprint native service on the device, but in Field Test Mode you know it's T-Mobile because the MCC MNC is 310 260. So it never actually states that it's T-Mobile except for the MCC MNC. And yes, my phone kept jumping 5 hours behind and back.
  11. No, same carrier bundle as my XS Max. But of course, with carrier bundles, they can still disable certain bands for certain devices. Maybe once iOS 12.1 drops it’ll enable it. I sure enjoy the expanded data service.
  12. The 6S does support LTE Bands 2 & 4, which is what T-Mobile is using here.
  13. Magic Box broadcast's it's service on B41 LTE. iPhone 5 and 5S are not capable of B41, only 25 & 26(iPhone 5S only).
  14. True. I’ll have to give it a try next time I go to Vegas.
  15. I haven’t seen Extended in my phone for days. When I was going to Vegas yesterday I didn’t pay attention to my phone in the roaming area of the road to see if I was on T-Mobile LTE and Verizon 1x. I’ll have to keep checking. Of course, without CDMA engineering screens on the XS Max, it sure makes it harder to see.
  16. I’ll keep an eye out for the launch of VoLTE. When I’m on T-Mobile LTE, my phone shows Sprint as the carrier. Non of my data used on T-Mobile has gone on my Roaming allotment, it’s all been native according to MySprint.
  17. Well, my worst dead spot is gone for data thanks to T-Mobile roaming. Now hopefully soon VoLTE will hit the Vegas market and iPhones, and I’ll be good to go. I wish I could say the same thing about my friends iPhone 6s’. They don’t have T-Mobile roaming. It’s odd.
  18. My phone likes to latch onto LTE all the time too. I think it could be a good thing. Hopefully service increases soon too.
  19. I got 14 up on 10x10 B25 this morning. Of course, that's really close to the site with little obstruction and the least used sector on the site.
  20. They might. They do release new firmware updates with most iOS updates.
  21. Yes, if you haven't updated to 12.0.1, please do so promptly. It fixed A LOT of my weak signal issues and my hard data drops I was experiencing, and the addition of T-Mobile roaming has even been better.
  22. About the same, except for data speeds. T-Mobile B4 speeds are over double than Sprint B25. I’m happy to have the data roaming on T-Mobile LTE though. There are some areas of Pahrump where Sprint is too weak to maintain a data connection.
  23. My iPhone spends more time on T-Mobile B4 than it does on Sprint B26 or B25 now. It’s wild and I don’t get it. I had decent B26 at my house.
  24. Yeah, it is. So after I reset my time zone it’s working better and not switching.
  25. Well, iOS 12.0.1 fixed a lot of data connection issues I had, but now my phone keeps switching time zones like crazy. My phone likes to be 5 hrs behind, like now.
