I did see that report on Verizon using 4g LTE at a lower frequency for phone upload. Many of us wish b25 was used for upload with b41 for download. CA b25+41+41+41+41 or whatever. With 5g's higher channel bandwidth and speed, it should not be as much of an issue. 5NR upload at 40MHz should be 4x, 60MHz should be 6x, 100MHz should be 10x. Of course the real world may differ.

DOJ Staff recommended blocking of the merger BEFORE concessions were announced Monday per Washington Post. This is why I can't wait for this to be over. So much hair-trigger rumors of doom and failure or success. Rumor of DOJ suing to block T Mobile Sprint merger was premature, done before concessions were given to FCC earlier this week.

Just got a call back from Sprint. He was able to put in my order for the Airave 4 today and will send out a return kit for the Airave 3 as well. He said 3-5 days for shipping. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Its clear that the device side back to the site is mostly the issue. I think it says a lot that Big Red decided to only make MM WAVE transmit one way for now...

If the Merger fails, I think he will sell them off to some cable or Dish. However they are still confident it will pass. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

It's not the lowband, it's their upload speeds that will always kill them in independent testing like this. The exception is PCMag who weighs upload speeds way less than download speeds.

Trump is not the typical administration, so past decorum may not apply. T-Mobile, just like Coal companies and some other firms, may just view penalties as the cost of doing business, especially if they start losing customers and become less profitable or even unprofitable.

VoLTE seems to have been tuned on today in Raleigh NC. (Of course it might not be permanent yet). It is working fine on my Samsung S8.

Happy to report that DC has approved a slew of mMIMO permits. Including my home tower of DC03XC145 on 19th St NW. Here is to hoping Sprint gets those panels in ASAP. You can search more DC permits here by searching 'Sprint': https://acaprod9.dcra.dc.gov/CitizenAccess/Default.aspx For details on each permit, you can copy the record number/Application ID into this system: https://eservices.dcra.dc.gov/obpat/default.aspx The most recent application from the 15th of January is still in preprocessing, so not sure what that is for yet.
