It should be noted that in certain conditions the device will used a cropped image from the main sensor instead of the second lens. That was the case on the S9+ too. I can't say that I've seen the same smudginess that you guys are mentioning on my device. Here are 3 unedited pictures I took last Thursday for comparison between the zoom and the other 2 sensors.

Am I the only one who doesn't care about 5G? I'm more than satisfied with LTE. I'll continue using it until I absolutely have to use 5G.

Well I don't know what you are doing with your phone but thats definitely not normal.

I don't know if I want to keep this phone on cuz I sunk like 500 something dollars into this phone to finance it and if I'm to have a phone that I need to put on the charger multiple times a day then it's not worth it to me Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

I have spent a TON of time on it because I'm overhauling Alerts for Android 8+ users. They were broken and I don't want to push another update out without a fix. It's a lot of work but it's getting there. Send me a diagnostic report from the Q Preview so I can get a peek at what's broken. Most early Preview builds have caused issues that were eventually resolved before the stable launch. And thanks for the bday wishes!! -Mike

Its pretty amazing how much further along Sprint 5G is vs the competition. Especially when you realize the most powerful wireless company's attempt at this deployment is particularly sad. This 5G deployment has more drama than a Telemundo soap opera.

E-UTRA stands for Evolved UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access. It is just the LTE air interface. An E-UTRA neighbor is just a neighbor LTE cell/sector that your phone is measuring (possibly for cell reselection).

It's likely Field Test just being buggy as usual.

Battery life has been fantastic for me thus far, no issues at all. Much better than my out going s9+ and much better than my current note 9. I have yet to have the battery die on me during the day no matter how i'm using it.

Yes it is unfortunately. I mean the phone's not bad but in terms of battery life it's disappointing. I only got this phone the other day so I may just return it tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

I upgraded from the s9 plus to the S10. So far I'm kind of disappointed with the battery life. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

I learned a few years ago not to stress over Preview builds not working properly, because a lot of the stuff SCP uses gets overlooked in early builds. But please send me a diagnostic report when you have a chance so I can take a look at it. -Mike

Yup, and after that just optimization.. maybe a a few towers/small cells where needed and it should be a robust experience costing far less than what the competitors are doing. If any of you watched the hearing yesterday. Marcelo told the entire panel: “ we are financially, ok now. “. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Even if Sprint had a $10 surcharge it would still be cheaper than Verizon while offering greater coverage, at least initially.

Almost a week later and I'm loving this phone, battery has been phenomenal, rf performance is stellar and much improved over the 9+, and yet it still has the same dimensions. VoLTE has been solid too, just wish it worked on the magic box which I don't even need but someone else in the house needs it because of a stupid iPhone that has horrible rf performance but I digress. Way to go Samsung.

i turned off my wifi calling because i missed several calls that went straight to voicemail. I also got the message that said to turn on high accuracy which was already on. I figured i would wait for any issues to get worked out before i tried it again.

Yep. As of now the only actual NR equipment are Sprints 2.5 M-mimo units and a few 28 GHz units for Verizon, tmobile, att, and the like. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Both the S8 and S9 suck in comparison to the S10 in rf performance, it's amazing the difference. I used to hit 3G here and there but not anymore. It's all LTE, finally Sprint gets a good phone.

I am seeing far better RF performance over my S9+. My work building is poorly situated for any signal, was sitting on LTE 800 if I was lucky with dBm in the -120 range. Now I'm sitting with LTE 1900 B25^2 with a signal of -101 dBm in the same spot. I also have had a few VoLTE calls and a few WiFi calling calls. Both were extremely clear and better than the garbage that was the Calling Plus!! Callers on the other end always said I was crackly with Calling Plus. Very pleased on this front as well. One side note to folks that might use eduroam WiFi networks used by college campuses and such (where I work).....the WiFi certificate setup is different than "standard" Android 9.0 on say a Pickle3. You have to go and download the cert from support.comodo.com then connect to the eduroam. No idea why Samsung did this, but that's a fact jack.

I forgot to mention that I got a SIM card from Best Buy so now I'm fully operational. Every Sprint store I called told me they don't have any despite the fact that I know they all do. I even called the flagship store here in NYC and they told me that they don't have any. In other news I'm so glad that the unlocked model got VoLTE. Also I was in Brooklyn and my S9+ was roaming while my S10+ had one bar of LTE so signal strength is definitely better on this device.

Screen protector is great, well done Samsung. I do have to say, this phone is a beast for rf performance, I'm at work in the basement and I haven't dropped to 3G yet, still holding onto 2-3 bars of LTE. VoLTE worked fantastic just a few minutes ago very clear.
