CASA for small cells looks like Sprint is using Casa as well for their small cell plan.

Got the GS9 on Monday last week. Its my first Samsung phone and I'm not a fan of the launcher at all. I didn't mind the launcher on the LG g4 or v20. Also Samsung has so many apps that are the same as the google equivalent, a lot more than LG had. I've downloaded all the google apps, hidden the Samsung apps and changed the launcher and I love this Phone. The RF performance is amazing compared to every phone I've had and the last phone was the Essential PH-1 so its a huge difference. Can't wait for 4x4MIMO and 256QAM to go live on B41. In NYC sprint could really use this since all the other carriers have started using LAA and can achieve speeds over 500MBPS

That's a difficult question to answer. Some sites are live within a week, some take several months. They may be waiting until they have completed all the work they've been permitted for until the integration crews start work. The B41 could go live at any time. Of course the B26 side will have to wait until spectrum is clear, and that likely won't be until fall at the earliest.

More dual-band 800+2500 antennas with Ericsson 8T8R RRUs, plus they're installing two Ericsson 800 RRUs so that 4x4 (or maybe 2x4?) Band 26 will be available when the spectrum is cleared.

That would have been good information to include in the post!

1Gbps is 128 MB per secound. 1 byte is 8 bits. Transfer speeds are in bits storage are in bytes. Confusing the two causes some outsiders to also be confused by what speeds you are talking about due to the 8x difference.

I don't mind that we host a link to this on our site. In general, I am not pro-merger. But by the same token, we aren't looking to be be the hive of the resistance. We may post some S4GRU Staff Editorials on the subject in the not too distant future. But we don't want to be part of organized anti-merger activity. Robert
