A completely useless signal on my s8+ has turned into a usable signal out of my new AU545. I'm not streaming 4k, but I can use BBM and my work apps. Very impressed

Just like how ridiculous it was for them to disable 3xCA on OG pixels with tmobile Sims until just this past summer. Google does what Google does. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Here's a very detailed Sprint UICC Database with details about all (40) of the Sprint SIM Cards. UICC Matrix – (All Sprint SIM Card Details) Our version of the Sprint UICC Database includes individual pages for each of the (40) SIM Card types as well as a list of the phones they are compatible with. Please let me know if there are any updates you would like to see!

It’s amazing to me that Sprint would allow the S8 and apparently V30 to ship with B41 issues. Do they not test optimal network performance? Sprint needs phones to hold on to B41 the best they can to be competitive. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

In addition to building towers, they will be buying sites from Sprint and it sounds like other companies as well. Acquisitions are the main push initially it sounds like, construction coming later. If Softbank remains connected with Sprint, this seems like a good thing to me.

Down to the last week. This is usually when most of the entries come in. We are still not fully funded. Only $550 so far. Please support S4GRU and get your chance to win a new phone. Many of you asked for us to do an open phone promotion where the winner can select the phone. Now's your chance. Please donate and support today! We should be able to make double this time! I really want to be able to upgrade the phone. Thank you to all of you who have donated so far. Good luck! Robert

Hopefully that will change then, since it's considered Native. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Yeah, I've been experiencing similar issues, especially with B41. The device is constantly switching to different bands in strong B41 signal areas. At times I've lost LTE all together, it almost seems like it doesn't know what to do lol. I tried the Z2 for a few days before I decided to switch back to Sprint and the difference between the two, RF wise is like night and day. I decided over the V30 figuring it would be equal or close to the Z2 RF wise, but so far it hasn't. I'm talking about a solid 10 dbms better in signal. Very disappointing. I think I rather have the Z2 Force although it doesn't have 4XCA and 2xCA on upload but it holds a great signal, aside from the fact that it is cheaper than the V30. Something cool I noticed. You know how in Allo you can see who has it downloaded by trying to start an Incognito chat? With RCS (at least in Samsung Message) you can see who has RCS enabled by clicking the menu button in the top right corner and clicking "start a group chat" and it'll show you all the people that have it.

This. They need to be nationwide. Every state. Every mile of interstate, every city over 10,000 people, every mile of every major transportation corridor. I am not pro merger. But I am not fully against it. There will be good things from it. But for me, this is one of the most important foundational requirements. This would be non-negotiable for me.

OK, thanks. It is a bit annoying that 446C is somewhat hard to find. A couple days ago I went to the main corp. Sprint store with an actual repair lab in it in town (serves as such an area of at least half a million people) and they didn't have them. Also tried a regular corp store and they didn't have them either. Ended up having the int'l dept send me one.

The only two Sprint compatible handsets that we know for a fact use a 4FF nano SIM running CSIM are the HTC One M9 and the 2015 Moto X aka Pure Edition aka Style. That is a small sample set. Probably, some/all of the Samsung and LG handsets released over the summer do, too, but we have no confirmation. And even among S4GRU users, most who have acquired new handsets that recently have not also acquired additional handsets. I may be one of the first. I have a 2015 Moto X, but I also have a Nexus 5X that is pending shipment. I do this research for me -- and for all of you. AJ

Also trying to revive a stale topic. Now that some Sprint phones are using csims, has anyone successfully done a sim swap between two Sprint phones? I'm wondering if it's working like Verizon now, with CDMA and LTE being authenticated.

Hoping to revivie a stale topic, wondering if we have any new members in the last year are also Sprint employees who might be able to provide info to update the SIM Compatibility matrix?

Yes. But they may not even be complete. Could need to be set up in the cabinets or backhaul configured or the site integrated. You cannot tell these things while driving by at 60 mph. But I could tell that the new panels and RRU's were installed on all sectors of each site. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Was down in Greenwood Village and saw the monopole at Orchard and University had its cover off (bottom section of an available 3). The question I've had running through my mind is how they deal with a site like this if the site is only one panel/antenna per sector when they usually have the 2x1 configuration?

Hotchkiss Colorado: Samsung equipment was installed today. Not active yet of course.

I saw the work tower from my home this morning. Our area is called the North Fork Valley. It includes Hotchkiss, Paonia, Crawford, and Cedaredge. All towns are in Delta County, about 40-60 miles SE of Grand Junction. The new Samsung 4G LTE equipment is on the tower awaiting hookup and testing. But 3G upload speeds are already much better.
