Is it procedure to hook the panel to yourself? I'm figuring if the panel falls, I surely wouldn't want to go with it.

The transfer of carabiner locks was killing me. I learned that you don't do that in 6th grade gym class. And why no automatic tools? Worried about over tightening?

No gin pole...flying a panel over someones back...the video of him trying to loosen a tower support bolt with channel locks(yeah right)..bending the hell out of the jumpers.. tearing up the jumpers. The list goes on and on. I really hope that was their first install as they questioned things on mounting even I would know.

 

Speaking of the automatic tools I never used them myself. I always brought up what I needed, and only what I needed, no heavy automatic tools and batteries. I didn't have the ability to have a ground crew sending stuff up though, had to bring up everything myself as I climbed alone most of the time.

No excuse for safety. Hit the road.. there are tons of companies that would hire him the same day to climb and install with the proper tools.

Haven't done it in by years... Used to love to climb at night in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.

First video

 

At about 7:50 you can see the tower number written on the panel: LR54XC441

 

Whoever rigged that antenna and sent it up was a complete greenhand/tool.. 

 

Channny's are the TH's #1 tool on the tower 

 

No non autolocking beaners 

I didn't see anyone playing rough with the jumpers..( they are pretty tough if you know what you're doing)

      Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.

      Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.

      At some point over the weekend, T-Mobile bumped the Omaha metro from 100+40 to 100+90 of n41! That's a pretty large increase from what we had just a few weeks ago when we were sitting at 80+40Mhz. Out of curiosity, tested a site on my way to work and pulled 1.4Gpbs. That's the fastest I've ever gotten on T-Mobile! For those that know Omaha, this was on Dodge street in Midtown so not exactly a quiet area!
