lilg740
Will they ever lite up the tower in Vinita Park? That was the one that was suppose to reach far and wide for the 170/Page/Rock Road area I believe. Did you ever check to see if work had even begun? Killswitch
Did you ever check to see if work had even begun? Nope. That neighborhood is just a bit dicey! I thought it was to be completed by July 26th.

sbolen
I was happy yesterday when a LTE site went down near work. I got my 3-4 megabits back...they fixed it overnight and my LTE is back to almost no speeds. I'd take a reliable 1x site I'd love to pull 3-4Mbps on 3G. jmac631
More dark purple in Chesterfield at that Golf Club.Ok now I'm curious enough to go check it out tomorrow (if I can figure out how to get back there). In case it's somehow NOT Weldon Spring, are there any towers out there I should take a look at?
digiblur
Here's hoping to you guys that you don't catch the Ericsson sickness that the NOLA, LA, and East TX markets have. We've got about a dozen and half donut sites now it seems. Our 4G active number is moving backwards in our stats. Have you been seeing anything with the new sites like this? I haven't been able to test out most of the active 4G sites as they are out of my way. Not a whole lot on my trip. Only time I see LTE is in Alton or Edwardsville from the Riverview site 10 miles away. That is unless I drive through MO to get Cigs and Gas then I get the same site but actually get real LTE from it and not just a glimpse. When more are active we might have this problem reported. The site right there is at Wild Horse Creek Rd on the property of St Thomas United Church of Christ. https://www.google.com/maps?t=m&ll=38.64873800000004%2C-90.64379500000001&spn=0.005103105861454636%2C0.00871222305847832&output=classic&cid=0x5bf8da8c843275ae&dg=opt
Dkoellerwx
Site in Ozark does have RRUs, also the water tower in Nixa has RRUs.
Killswitch
Strange. I have two phones, one of WiMax and one for LTE. I work around the Rock Road and 170 area, traveling between sites on a route. I use my phone for everything, net, GPS, tracking packages, etc. Anyway, this afternoon I was using my WiMax and everything was going as normal - Pretty fast and very reliable. Around 6PM everything slowed to a crawl. I rebooted the phone, removed the battery, etc, several times and nothing helped. I then turn on my Galaxy 4 with LTE and I have LTE lighting up. Not sure what any of this means. Maybe they are testing a tower or something.

Unless they just happened to be working on a WiMax tower at the same time.

Can you dial ##debug#(type SPRINT if prompted for code) and go to LTE Engineering and snap a shot? or just tell me what is in the serving cell field and you signal strenght? You are probably right, I just found it odd how it happened. Right now LTE is working and 4G is not.

I travel this area in a 4 mile radius. I pulled in to get gas on the West side of 170 and that is where I noticed it. I will try, but I am not sure what LTE engineering is. Even the folks in Tyler Tx are seeing this with only a couple sites there. It seems isolated to Ericsson equipment so far across the region.
